Clean review, unlike other reviewers who tend to go loud and hype up the brand way too much. Almost every other youtube review for this phone had the 4500 nits brightness point hyped up to the point that their review looked biased. This review on the other hand is unbiased and straight up facts.

The most honest and genuine review of one plus 12. All the other reviews by influencers were paid by One Plus.
This is still the 2nd brightest display ever which can be pushed upto near 1800 nits. (4500 nits they reached in lab conditions, not applicable in real life). Also a display brightness update is coming soon.
Its like a few nits brighter than S24U but the Anti-Reflective screen for S24U turned the table.

Agreed to the part that the latest software update has improved the battery performance a lot. The camera performance is good depending upon how one clicks the photo.

Need your help deciding between OP12 and Iqoo12 primarily from Camera perspective. I am using OP7 currently (bought after your review). No issues with phone except for Android Auto in my new Brezza car and Camera is out dated. Can you pls check if OP12 works fine? In this initial impression video you haven't covered much on the camera quality, specially the periscope telephoto lens. Iqoo12 also has similar lens. Which one is better?

Fair review. I've been using the phone for the past 12 days. It is excellent in every way. The display is amazing ,awesome battery life (getting 10 hrs SOT) and a good camera. The display brightness may not compete with other high end phones as you said but bright enough to be used outdoors. A good value for money flagship.

Hi Ranjit, I am a regular viewer of your videos. I want to know what is your recommendation on Oneplus 12 vs 11. Does this really an upgrade to be considered or you think this is just a finer version of 11 with very minimal extra stuffs. Snapdragon Gen3 - does even the OEM knows how better is this as compared to Gen2?

We also noticed something interesting while testing the brightness levels. The S24 Ultra is way brighter than the OnePlus 12!
And way expensive than OnePlus 12 too😅
@@ratheesh4865 S24 is much brighter than OnePlus 12 and the price difference isn't that much. And Samsung doesn't claim 4500 nits like OP but still perform better with having 2600 nits.
The brightness is locked to 600nits as off now, need to wait till oneplus drops an update to unlock the full brightness

Sir I checked, the typical brightness of OnePlus 12 is around 1600. Samsung's displays always have higher typical brightness that's maintained for long time under direct sunlight. The peak brightness doesn't mean anything, it's always a misleading information. UA-camrs should call out brands for that and state the real brightness in the reviews.
What is Samsung brightness and peak

I have been using a OnePlus 8 device since 2020 and I see no difference in performance comparing OP 12 provided that I am not a hardcore mobile gamer.Really OP devices remain buttery smooth always 😊

I was also a oneplus user but hated the experience and switched to iPhone when the authorised service centre forced me and made me pay 15k for the green line issue of my 8pro when oneplus was providing free display repairs.
They freely replaced the screen of my 3 year old phone...
They took my 8T which was 38 months old and gave a voucher of 27k. With that i picked up a 11r! And paid 11k for it 😅!! Thanks 1+!!
I don't think that was an authorized centre then. All you needed to do was ask them why they were charging when the repair was supposed to be free.
@@Sancnea No I visited the service center which was listed on OnePlus website. The explanation he gave me was ridiculous, what he said was that it was an experimental update, provided to understand the durability of these displays serving in areas of high-temperature. He also said that the free replacement policies only being allowed to the Model from oneplus 8t and above. And I asked them for a guarantee and they said they can’t provide a guarantee. While leaving the service and itself, I asked them regarding a doubt that I saw on the adhesive of the back panel. Just after two days from servicing at the back panel completely came off and I again called the service center in kochi and he said that he can provide a free repair only if I bring that to the service centre which was around 500 km away from my home. And while I was reselling my device to buy a new phone, I was shocked to see that there was a very slight bend on the metal frame, which indicates how hard they pressed the mobile. This was the exact reason that the back panel came off because there was a slight bend in the mobiles metal frame and the glue was not able to stick it together. Anyway, it was nice to get rid of that OnePlus because the models were becoming stupid and useless. Even though they have a partnership with hasselblad I think it’s the worst partnership in a mobile. Also, the colour Os was completely coming into the oneplus devices, which took the soul of the device.

Hello, how different is the UI experience now compared to the experience from Oneplus 1 to 7 series. A dedicated video or a segment in review video would be very helpful.
7:20 The difference between color os and Oxygen os is that for the later, you don't get much bloatwares and no ads.
I don't understand the hate.... Fun touch Os, Color Os, Miui, Hyper.... All of them are pretty good!!! The main issue is ads!!! And OnePlus doesn't do that... I like customisation and features which help in day to day tasks.... Og oxygen os was legendary but it was lacking some features....

Please can you review vivo x100 normal one not the pro because that is pretty much after offers comes close to iqoo 12 and oneplus 12 i want you thought because i want a phone around 60k and dont have the budget of s24 and vivo x100 pros which are like 80-90 k ...i am getting x100 12-256 after offers for 57k hope you review it bacause i alaways upgrade phones after seeing your opinion currently useing Oneplus 9 pro phone is good but cameras are not that good...hoping for your video big fan from West Bengal Siliguri❤love your videos and nice to see you back stay healthy 😊

I do absolutely agree with the statement that the screen of oneplus 12 is not as bright as the s24 ultra or probably like any other flagship phones. But the thing is that the peak brightness actually works when you are watching a video in HDR, the video contrast and the brightness actually differs there.
