Good question. From my understanding they are placed in the same category because reflexive/intensive pronouns are identical in structure, their functions are just a little different. Due to the pronouns themselves (yourself, myself, oneself, etc.) not changing when used reflexively or intensively, we don't need to add another category. I hope that answer makes sense.
Just out of curiosity, I double-checked that sentence on Grammarly. You can use "each other" in both contexts and both are correct. Also, it's supposed to be "It's" not "Its" like you wrote. I will add a video on contractions to my list of things to do.
