That screen is the same as my Renogy and yeah it pulses.BTW for a mini battery, the weight seems kind of heavy? My full-size TimeUsb batter weights 23.15 lbs
It was funny listening to your dog, saying "Yes, yes! Turn on the A/C!" :) These mini batteries are pretty cool. Their size and weight are very compelling for specific use cases, plus their costs keep coming down, even when inflation is making a lot of other things more expensive. I've got that same Renogy shunt/monitor and it's been very solid for me, as well.
I have the renogy branded version of that battery monitor. It's the exact same thing. It's been great. I haven't had a single issue out of it. It's currently installed in my DIY solar generator
How do I order this setup? Did you get it all the same place? I’d like 2 of these batteries with the wiring and shunt and screen thing. The whole setup battery wise. Not the inverter or charger just the battery related stuff I see you have both links, so all I’ll need otherwise is some wire or does it come with this too? Wanting to build my first solar setup for my 20’ storage container ventilation. Would I even need 2 of these or just 1?? I really only plan for fans to run when the sun is beating down on the container. So I probably only need 1 battery. I want to run a couple efficient fans during the hours of the sun blasting on the container. In fact I may be better off running solar fans that run directly off the sun only without a battery. Any suggestions?? I’m completely new to all of this.
You never start a timer and let us know how long the Air Conditioner ran from 100-0%. That data along with the specs of the window AC is important info.
I can give you an approximation. The AC was on medium, and running around 900W. The two batteries combined have a capacity of 2560Wh, so the math is 2560 / 900 = 2.84 hours. Now this AC can run around 300w on low, also depending on the ambient temp. So possibly 8+ hours on low. There's a link in the description for the AC. Thanks

Nice teardown, Did you found info about what BMS brand is used?
seems like a nice little battery for the money, thanks
Totally agree! Thanks
That thing is small! Not familiar with this brand, but you did a great job breaking down this battery!
Thanks!
One of the few batteries with near adequate internal wire size to the main terminals.
A T Burke
Yeah, I don't think I've seen a wire that size in a 100Ah battery. Thanks!
Greetings from Kenya,You guys on that side of the continent get good batteries, that's a good Mini 100ah,
Thank you. Love your videos!
Aw, thanks :)
That thang is so cute!
For sure :)
You should have set the capacity a bit higher like 220ah to get the total capacity with this shunt. 8-) Nice battery for the price.
True, I thought about that after :) Thanks

How many actual hours did the air conditioner run off the 200 amp hours? And what type of air conditioner and how many watts is it.
Could you have charged the batteries at the same time you were drawing current through the inverter?
Yes, provided the charger can provide enough current.
👍
Thanks, Ben!
I did everything you did don't have that. Is going to be a problem
