Now, I Just realized that the secret to making a million is saving for better trades. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money trading. For example last year I Traded with 10k in Crypto and made about $146k,but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million

Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time

    THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!
Honestly, I gave up on trading a year or so ago after trying to trade for half a year because I would unintentionally spend literally hours in my bed watching the price go up and down. My trading psychology wasn’t really solidified and it was now affecting my overall psychology LOL I would get lowkey anxiety wondering what’s happening to my trades whenever I wasn’t looking at the charts or when I would go to bed. I would wake up at 4-6 am and stare at my phone until I had to go to work.
I have restarted my trading journey, and I think you explained what the difference is now! I decided to swing trade, so now even if I do stare at the charts, there’s nothing to see LOL. I started working out again and cross-stitching as a hobby, so now I sometimes forget I have a live trade playing out. I hope to keep this mentality where I can even forget to check the charts! Sometimes when I have nothing to do, I just have the charts open in the background, but when I see the price go the opposite way by like 20 pips, it doesn’t bother me anymore since it’s the same candle as an hour ago and didn’t affect my PNL by much.
I saw some of your videos in the past when trying to trade, but I never really hopped on the idea of swing trading because I was desperate for money. But now that I have a stable income on the side, I can truly attest that swing trading is far better on your general QOL!

Most people blow their account because of isolation. They get a bit of profit and instead of waiting for a payout. They keep on trading the profit hoping to make a lot more, And in the process they end up blowing up the account

    • @RaheemEli-yn4zf
      @RaheemEli-yn4zf 8 місяців тому

Trading without proper mentorship is the major reason why most people blow up their account. When trading crypto, a lot of people tend to encounter re-occurring losses which could easily be avoided by working hand in hand with a trading expert.

Isolation helps me because I am not then influenced by any outside opinions, I also find it a successful tool, as no one needs to hand hold me through each trade. Each to their own though, I do know some people that can't deal with the isolation aspect of this industry, but for others its a dream come true.

OMG, this reminds me of myself soooo much. I have been trading pretty solid for around 5 years, but like you, I too had a mentor and a semi professional friend who got me into it.
I had a screen 40" screen running in my bedroom every night. I also used to wake up every hour to check candles, back to sleep again. I traded crypto and still do and I still love it. I was trading the 1 minute chart for 6 hours solid all day, I did just under 50% for that session, but it burnt me out very quickly. I could not keep that up, no phone calls, no interruptions at all. Now i trade larger time frames, I am much more chilled, way more relaxed. Sure the profits are not quite as good, but the balance is right where I want it now.
I am also a Leo/Virgo and have the obsessive trait, i know exactly what you mean.

Wise words that are applicable to both introverts (me!) and extroverts. As an introvert, I enjoy the quiet solitude of trading. I am not obsessed. My screen time is limited to one NY AM trade and one NY PM trade. Then, loss or profit, I'm done trading for the day and go on to to other things I enjoy. So, heed Tori's wise words whether you are blessed to be an introvert or an extrovert. BTW, Tori, I love the dress.

Geat video Tori! And for the beginning traders, already start thinking about starting a business what has nothing to do with trading so you fill you other parts of your brain with fullfilment and creating a second source of income besides trading where your trading can benefit from. It's very great and good for your psychology when you start your day with trading and make losses that you can instantly step in another project that brings joy and the losses have no impact anymore.
Almost all succefull traders, have a side business just like Tori has her youtube business.

People in the comments like to say they enjoy being alone, but there's is difference between being alone and feeling lonely. People can be perfectly fine being by themselves, for days weeks or even longer. But at some point most people, even introverts, need are gonna start feeling lonely and long for human interactions.

we both trade full time, so are in contact with each other constantly thru out the day. we can keep each other in check and grounded, bounce ideas around etc etc .

I trade 1.5 hours/day, Monday to Thursday. The rest of the day, I do my own stuff.
As for equating our self-worth to our P/L, one way to overcome that is to have expected outcome. For one of my strategy, the expected outcome is that I will win 50% of the time. So over a long run, I know I'm still on track as long as my win rate is around 50%. I may go on a bad streak but I know the strategy is working as long as my overall win rate is around 50%.

Hi Tori, video producer here... when using two or more cameras never have the same or similar sized shot on both cameras. Have one camera on a tight and one on wide. Also when talking directly to an audience down the lens that side shot never works. When naturally talking directly to somebody in conversation do you all of a sudden quickly turn to the side and still talk directly at them? The side shot only really works where people are looking off camera like in an interview situation. Last tip, move the plant off to the right of frame or somewhere else so doesn't look like it's coming out of the top of your head. Looking great otherwise :)

"Isolation? That's my trader's dojo. Think Sheldon and Raj in The Big Bang Theory, whiteboard sessions, and 'Eye of the Tiger' in the background. It's the trading grind, with a soundtrack."

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for better investment. I always tell myself you don't that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million.

Thanks for the continuing updates I'd rather trade the stock market as it's more profitable. I make an average of $34,500 per week even though I barely trade myself.

I'm pretty sure, when you look as good as Tori looks, isolation or being alone are choices, not how the world would like her to be. However, regardless of your endeavors, discipline and isolation will always come about and are usually the deciding factors in who is successful and who is asking what size coffee I want.

Same here. 2 fold bcse I have still have a regular job that consumes my week from 7:30 to 5pm , 5 days a week. So, I do some scalping in premarket & swing trade more than I used to. I was on steady 2nd shift for over 2 years, so I was able to trade from 6am til 1:30...ish everyday. Now that my schedule ms changed I hate to feel as I'd I've abandoned trading, so I find myself up til 12, to 1 or 2am planning & setting alerts, alarm goes off at 6:15 & I'm dead. 😂..

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.

I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.
