You have some beautiful finishes, Celeste! I love your sampler tributes to your blue and pink grandmas! They will be such treasures! Each time I see a sampler with Psalm 23 or part of it on the sampler, I immediately think of my paternal grandmother as she helped me memorize that verse as a very young girl. I am stitching Charlotte Frost by The Scarlet House in her honour. Thanks as always for sharing your passion for stitching and for Our Lord with us. Happy stitching!
Your stitching is so pretty. I do enjoy your flosstubes. Wonderful key charts. I immediately thought how fun they would be to stitch. The key to my peace is always being in a state of commune with God. My kids have often asked how I can stay so calm in the middle of chaos. I've always stressed to them that whatever is going on that it too will pass. Always be in an attitude of prayer. I've seen a lot of life in my 70+ years, God has always led the way.
Your projects are all so pretty. Love the sampler for your blue grandmother.❤️ I think you have a gift for color. Color is key to so many arts. Keeping busy keeps me peaceful. Housework, yard work, stitching. I’m retired and keeping busy is a challenge for me sometimes.
I love the key charts. I try to avoid conflict or hurting anyone's feelings. I would rather give in than win. Peace and kindness are very important to me. My home is quiet and volumes are kept low. I love your beautiful work that you shared with us today. Enjoyed the visit.
Stitching is a big key to peace for me - doing it, talking about it with Friends, watching FlossTube, thinking about it. Our stitching community is a treasured haven in an otherwise chaotic world! Love your finishes!❤
Always love it when you have a new video. Your stitching is beautiful, as always. I love Sarah Barker. She’s beautiful! I’m definitely adding her to my wishlist. I hope you have a great two weeks. 💕
I really enjoy your floss tubes…your Valentine display is beautiful! Love all your projects…and I had a lavender-blue grandmother and think your sampler for both your grandmothers is such a sweet idea😌 I am binge watching your videos and your stitching and sewing is just beautiful, thank you for sharing☺️
Great video love seeing your ffo and finishes they are so beautiful 🤩 your daughter’s piece is stunning! My key to peace is morning prayer and stitching so relaxing ☺️. Have a wonderful day and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Hi Celeste. Thank you for another wonderful video. You make so much progress on your wips. I love it. The key to my peace is to take a few minutes each day to read and journal. It gives me time to reflect on my day and my goals and keeps me mindful and calm.
I love the finish for your “blue” grandma! My key for peaceful days is with stitching and quiet reflection. I have a very adversarial job so the peaceful only happens when I get home from work and spend time in refuge of my home with flosstube and other crafts and friends.
I do observe Lent. I pray every day before and after my working hours. I have an inspirational book with a daily scripture subject, which I read daily. That's my way and the key to a peaceful attitude. ❤️ 🙏
My little stitching buddy, Bernie, was barking with Doug, all the way from Oregon! I find peace in prayer and time in the Word. Music is also a key. I am pretty careful about what goes into my mind, so I meditate as I stitch. There is a great deal of calm in my stitching!
I feel that your videos is like a series or saga..I cannot wait for the next one! Your videos are very peaceful to watch. Thank you for taking the time to do them. I very much enjoy watching your seasonal displays and have actually started to do the same. In the last few months I have collected by the sea figurines to display along with a lighthouse quilt, celebrating the beginning of summer. I find peace in the love from my sons and husband, but when they are having questionable days, I go to my quilty space 😅. Have a wonderful day!
Daily alone time to decompress is the key to my peacefulness. I love your RV dream with your husband! You deserve to travel the world after homeschooling everyone for so many years!
Always fun watching..... My key to keeping settled is walking....I walk my property and it really helps to give me peace of mind....thanks and take care
My key to daily piece is my walk and talk with God. When I feel anxious and stressed, or worried, he keeps me grounded. He truly is my best friend. Thank you for an amazing video.
The key to my peace is to wake up before dawn, grab a cup of coffee, take my time with God, & then stitch for at least an hour. It’s the best way for me to start the day with a happy, grateful heart. Loved seeing what you have been working on. Beautiful projects as always ❤️🪡🧵
Hi Celeste 😀 nice pieces you showed us, thank you!!!! And as soon as you mentioned the audiobook you are listening lately I run to my Hoopla and found 3 of the series…. I know if you like them I will too … Barron biography exciting too… from history teaching to CIA… and now writer great reminder about lent too…starts in February? I found peace and tranquility early morning prayer first, reading my Bible some current events and then planning my day. Stitching is my reward, lately I’m doing embroidery to connect it in quilt I’m planing to make, working with my hands makes me happy and at peace.❤️
The key to my peace is to wake up, have coffee, serve my sister and begin my prayers. My priest says we should pray our age -- I'm 73. So I spend some time each day. So I have recently found Catholic Culture you tube that offers audio books. On my list this year was St Francis De Sales Introduction to the Devout Life. They have produced this book (and many others) We have just finished Part 4.
Enjoyed visiting w/you; the key for each day is my Bible devotion. It keeps me calm, centered, and gives me purpose through all of life. I wouldn't want to live this life w/o knowing Jesus as my Lord/Savoir. Thx for sharing your book choices also; much appreciated.
You have such beautiful stitching, it seems like you are so fast!! I ❤️ your stitching for your grandmothers!! I had a grayish blue and a black (hair) grandma!! The one with dark black hair always had red fingernail polish on too!! 😊 I love hearing about your reading too!! Happy stitching to you too! ❤️
I stitched the same Blackbird samplers for both of my grandmothers - but I made Margaret Harris pink. Now I’m working on the Blackbird Designs Lydia Cohagen for one of my great grandmothers - of the 4, she’s the only one ever knew. I love the sampler you made for daughter - the motifs are beautiful. I hope you have a good Lent.
The key to contentment for me is not dwelling on the negative and, instead, appreciating the moment - especially if I am stitching or crafting. I just finished reading Murder on the Links. I think "contentment" is something that would be very useful for me to contemplate as well. Thanks for the inspiring videos.
Cekeste love your flosstube channel. Your setup reminds me so much of my League CIty home I sold 10 years ago. Behind my door was the attic! My favorite notion, or notions, is my super sharp seam ripper. ha!
The key to my peacefulness is to talk to the lord daily. He guides me through the hard stuff without the stress. Love the blue and pink projects for your grandmas
I just found you on Floss Tube! The KEY my peacefulness is morning prayer. I took am Catholic and really appreciate your bringing your faith to your videos. Wishing you a peaceful lent. Happy Stitching, Kari
My Key is the mantra I live by “ my peace is priceless, cost me my peace and you cost to much” . I ask myself this all the time. When I’m feeling unsettled I ask again and no matter what it is - it goes. I wish I had done that years ago. Beautiful works today!! I love you have a blue grandma and a pink one!!
Love the little bunnies on Sarah Parker. I loved Ash Wednesday when I was a child and I always tried super hard to keep the ashes on my forehead so I could show my mom when I went home for lunch. Silly but I was proud of those ashes. 😊
I loved the addition to your Valentine pillow collection; that linen is wonderful!!! Prayer is the key to my Peacefulness and Stitching is the key to my Joy & Contentment! Have a great week, Celeste!
Your Valentine decor is wonderful!!! As always, you’d finished and wips are beautiful. Love the two for your grandmothers. Maybe you’ll weaken and show us your new RV next time!!! Happy stitching and God bless.
I so admire your stitching! Thank you for sharing. I find peace in my crafts or by reading a book. I find joy in gifting my craft projects to friends and family. Happy stitching.❤
Thanks again Celeste! Love your stitching! My key to happiness is to not only pray every day, but to remember this quote "Be the person you want to be".
I loved seeing the samplers you have stitched for your pink and blue grandmothers, they are so beautiful and I love your color conversion. Your Valentines stitches and your display are so pretty. The key to my peacefulness is keeping hope and prayer in my life. Thank you so much for sharing your book recommendations and for sharing another wonderful video.
Hi you! I enjoyed seeing what you are up to. Contentment for me comes from staying in the Word and finding things around me every day to be thankful for . I love the season of Lent although I am not Catholic. Easter is my favorite. I saw April finished her biscournu so you better hop to it girlie…Happy Valentines Day 😘
Knowing Jesus paid it all I'd the key to my peace. Nothing happens that hasn't been filtered through God's eternal plan. Knowing that no matter how bad things get, Jesus will come on his white horse and set things right. Heaven will be glorious.
Thanks for another great video. You’re on my top ten list! I’m not sure I have truly have a key to contentment (must work on that) but I know my heart is happier when I walk into my sewing room so perhaps that’s what could be considered contentment.
I am happy for you that you have made some progress on completing a few WIPs. I have also completed a couple recently, and I do feel accomplished The Key to the Kingdom sampler is pretty. Your question is very thought provoking, what is my key to staying peaceful? I guess my key to peace really comes down to prayer. Sometimes in the chaos of life, just take a deep breath and pray. Your Valentine’s display is adorable. Happy Valentine’s Day.
