Little hack if you’re trying to record a video while in your car and even if you’re not on iOS 18 open up your camera do not switch over to video. That’s what causes it to mute instead stay on the camera app and when you’re ready to record your video hold down the capture button it will then default to video and still play your audio.
I’m still not sure whether to try this or not. I keep reading about POTENTIAL issues and battery drainage which could be resolved with the next updates. So basically I’m doing this solely out of curiosity and a little boredom. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with battery at 83% status.
@@fureyize I’m iPhone 13 base, and I just upgraded to iOS 18, let me tell you. It is 100% worth it, it’s just better in every way tbh, the battery is the same I think. That could be bc I’m just using UA-cam rn but I think it is worth it. The update does take a while though

iOS 18 is my most favorite version of iOS yet I love the Home Screen customization and I love that I can put apps anywhere I want and I love the Dynamic Island stop watch feature
I can tell you that one thing I am super happy about is that they finally changed the weather to show your city in bit letters. In iOS 17, I freaking hated how in big bold letters said, "My Location" and right underneath it showed in small tiny letters, my city that I am currently. Now it shows the city you are in in really big letters. I love it!!
It's actually better than I expected on my 15 Pro Max. Battery isn't noticeably worse at all for me. Also if you're asking if installing a beta permanently harms your battery, the answer is it's not enough to notice. Maaaybe like 1% lower battery health in the long run
@@이놈사님 you too! Also now that I’m on day 2 of using the public beta, I’ll give a little update. The battery does seem to be lasting an hour or two less. Normally it would be at 85-90% at this time of day but it’s currently at 81%. But that problem should go away by public beta 2 or 3 👍
I work for Verizon. I sell phones. The FaceTime screen control, password, rcs chats, AND faceid app lock are going to be life saving features for sales.
⚠️ when I restart my iphone 15 plus battery 2,3 percentage drain ex. If there is 80% after restart there will be 77 why this happened please give solution

Did the beta yesterday and had to downgrade because the RCS was sending duplicate messages, nonstop
How do u get Public beta?
iPhone setting > general > software update > beta update > change to public beta.
Recommended doing it not on your personal device.
