And keep giving us all the Chicago history, I love it, it's such a massive difference from my little peaceful country, it's quite fascinating to hear all about this stuff. Anyways, keep safe brother.
De onde és? Interesting that you think our country is peaceful. Where I live I hear shootings every other day. When I see Brian videos I think "you wouldn't be able to do that here, you'd be dead by now". Just that police interaction was crazy, imagine acting like that near a cop, and on top of it go talk to him... You'd leave with a black eye and "fined" one month of salary.

You're one of the few YT channels that finally got me to get the little 125cc addon for my car license here in Germany. I don't have a bike of my own yet, but should within the next few months. I'm currently eyeing a CB125F for commuting to work and to ditch the thirsty car borrowed from my family, my fuel consumption would go from ~10L/100km to ~1.5L/100km (~23 MPG -> ~156 MPG). Thanks for the motivation to get into riding even though I'll most likely never do any of the stunt riding stuff you do.
Also want to mention you are probably the most accurate when it comes to these stories and it’s kind of crazy seeing the actual bus stop in person. The o block gang war is crazy. As someone from Chicago I grew up knowing about the stuff that went down there. Everyone knows it around the world too. When I was in South Africa 🇿🇦 some guys from there asked me if I knew about o block and king von.
When I see pictures of these people who have ran around shooting each other it makes me sick! These are kids! They lost their lives while they were still so young that they didn’t even have time to learn that life is so much bigger than their little neighborhood. They had this little small world and they never got to get out of Chicago and see there is such a big world out there. I mean King Von got out of Chicago and learned there was a whole world out there but this was so deeply engrained in him as his lifestyle that he still lost his life to it.
The best thing a lot of people in environments like that can do to avoid gang violence is to choose better parents. It's really not as easy as choosing to not get involved. By the very nature of where they live they have to be involved. In many instances it's kill or be killed and we can't blame them for choosing the former. So many people are targeted for shootings just because of their proximity to others whether they're involved with them or not. The real issue I almost never hear talked about in documentaries like this is the structural poverty that brought us here. The number one driver of crime is lack of opportunity and poverty. People who are in desperate circumstances act out of desperation. So many of these people on section 8 and other governmental assistance work 2-3 jobs and still can't pay the bills. It shouldn't be like this, whatever happened to hard work pays off? People who put in hard work everyday should be able to leave environments like this but so many of them just can't because of structural poverty and the way in which our conomic systems are set up. This might offend people, but another major reason is systemic racism. While white people got to benefit from the GI Bill and other forms of aid, getting governmental assistance to purchase homes and pass down generational wealth, black veterans were deprived of that and put in the crime ridden project high rises we saw in this video. The federal government's guidelines on financial institutions issuing loans precluded black people in many instances from building the type of wealth white people got to build. The legacy lives on today. Thanks for your coverage of this Brian much love and respect RIP to all who died in this gang war

I am from austria and even i know all these stories and the gang war from chicago.. It's just sad man.. In my country gangs kill with knifes because we don't have guns but in chicago it's really bad.. In my city we have 1 or 2 dead people in a half year or so because of "gang violence".. We don't even have real gangs.. In my country it us more common for ethnic groups to stick together.. Italian with italians, checens with checens, afghans with afghans.. And they have all war with one and another.. Gang brawls with over 100 people are very common and sometimes people come with knifes and then people die but not like in chicago.. This is bad enough but cicago and america in gerneral is very bad.. I really hope it will change someday but it is getting worse and worse every year sadly.. The music is cood but it's such a waste of life..
Hey Brian, it’d be great if you could do a video about how you grew your channel. I’m trying to do that and I love seeing different peoples paths to achieve a goal ❤️
Brian really enjoy your content thanks for being a great ambassador for bike life. I would like to see you attempt something new in the bike world. Get in the woods and try some Hard Enduro.
sad we glamorize it. sad kids would rather be members than athletes or something better. most places in the world ppl in the slums would give anything to b something other than in a gang. here i had friends that were good at sports from complete homes that legit gave up sports just to bang bc it was cooler to b in the streets than on a court/field. fkn crazy and sad and it’s a problem ppl don’t actually care to end bc it’s “cool” to teenagers to throw ur life away. period.
I know you see it all the time, but man you inspire me to get on two wheels. Never been much of a daredevil; however, I think I’ll be fine if I just hop on and cruise.

Congrats on the million!!
Bryan a real one in the community
Hey Brian, it’d be great if you could do a video about how you grew your channel. I’m trying to do that and I love seeing different peoples paths to achieve a goal ❤️
Brian really enjoy your content thanks for being a great ambassador for bike life. I would like to see you attempt something new in the bike world. Get in the woods and try some Hard Enduro.
Love the interactions in this video
Man getting love in a dangerous city!! ❤
Great content and unique use of e-moto for it's accessibility.
this is the type of street cred everyone wishes they had, dude can go anywhere and talk to anyone
sad we glamorize it. sad kids would rather be members than athletes or something better. most places in the world ppl in the slums would give anything to b something other than in a gang. here i had friends that were good at sports from complete homes that legit gave up sports just to bang bc it was cooler to b in the streets than on a court/field. fkn crazy and sad and it’s a problem ppl don’t actually care to end bc it’s “cool” to teenagers to throw ur life away. period.
Man these solo rides hit different ❤
Gotta love em
The information in this video is just🤯
I know you see it all the time, but man you inspire me to get on two wheels. Never been much of a daredevil; however, I think I’ll be fine if I just hop on and cruise.
congrats on 1mil !!!
