    I had to teach myself to say thank you to a compliment. I become speechless. I needed to say thank you and couldn't.

      First, thank you for stopping by my channel if I haven't said this. I still use okay quite often in those instances. I adopted the word okay as a way to acknowledge to someone I was listening if I found nothing of substance to offer back.

    Thank you for the insight. When we present our capabilities in the way you described, selling ourselves short, it's unfortunately easy to be taken advantage of. I feel the same about much of what you said, except when I say I can't take praise, I can't take any at all. Before I even suspected I have autism I thought this was because if my upbringing, where every single accomplishment was just silently acknowledged without so much as a "good job", and any subpar performance punished.

      That's very relatable from the perspective I didn't do things like my siblings which do to not wanting to know why was negatively pointed out.
