If we let Miles walk who are we going to resign to replace a 20 ppg scorer? Realistically what top FA is going to sign here? I don’t condone what Miles did but Miles role has never been to take us to glory he’s a piece that helps us move a little closer to that goal
Exactly. Ideally he’s a 4th option when this team is competing. He does a lot of things that are impactful to winning, he just didn’t have the team around him this season to prove that.
Top free agents sign with small market teams.. what top free sign with the Lakers and the Knicks? The Lakers had only two from different teams that was only LeBron and Shaq in between those years that had nobody just trades. And the New York Knicks only had Amare Stoudimre from what I remember
@@anthonyjefferson3941 realistically name a top FA in this upcoming class that would consider the Hornets in our current state. I’ll wait, I never said a FA would never sign with a small market team but based on this context with Miles no top FA is signing here this off season

I couldn’t think of any star FAs that have signed with a small market team recently tbh. But there’s plenty of examples of them signing with big markets like LA, NY, Boston, Miami, and Chicago.

I watched every game this past season. We didn’t win many games, but the close games we won, Miles was the closer. He hit the 3, he scored the last second layup. Based on the cards we have been dealt, he’s worth the price.
That being said, I’d be willing to sign and trade Miles to Detroit for Duren, a role playing wing and a decent pick.

Not to mention we actually drafted him so he’s ours! No way u trade away a player that u drafted that got waaay better and is now the longest tenured player.

I don’t see where Miles would get more money from than Charlotte. I have seen zero real rumors about Detroit being interested in Miles. Does Miles want to play in Utah? Probably not if it’s only a few million more. I think we just slap 4 years 80 million in front of him and that’s the offer we stick to. Put a time limit on the offer that still allows you time to pivot if he does accept a bigger offer. somehow.

Miles as a player has his flaws, but I think it’s insane to think that his strengths don’t get magnified playing with LaMelo ball. He was a borederline allstar a couple years ago.

I feel that the Hornets should just let Miles Bridges go. At best, you spend money on him and he turns out to be what he was really good at, which was an athletic fringe All-Star. But at worse? Not only could he just be a bad player like he was last year, but he could also possibly get into legal trouble again, putting another black eye (pun intended) on the Hornets franchise.
The downsides to bridges far outweigh the upsides he could bring.
Miles average 20 ppg 6 reb 1 stl 1 block 2 ast and avg a league leading 41 min a game and never missed a game he's not young spoiled brat like Melo about the ankle braces..think again and keep Mann and Vasa both are cheap.Bertans set to make over 20 mil get your facts straight

@@tylergillian8642 his numbers look great. His problem is his defense didn’t really improve and he was taking really, really bad shots. At most, he would be the third option on the team. Depending on how much money he asks for, I don’t know if he’s worth it considering he literally could turn around and beat another woman and be out of the league forever.
@@mackman88 but the issue is it’s already happened to him. He has a history of this. This isn’t like saying “Steph Curry could turn around and beat his wife”. Miles has proven multiple times that he cannot control his temper. Both on the court and off the court. That’s why it’s literally the strongest argument against him.
