I-74 Bridge Construction | Quad Cities | May 2020 | Night Time Lapse

We'll take a night drive on the I-74 corridor that runs through the Quad Cities and crosses the Mississippi River. You'll see I-74 bridge construction from May 2020. We'll start off near the Quad City International Airport in Moline, IL. We'll end up riding along the corridor in Bettendorf, IA and Davenport, IA. We'll get onto I-80 and turn around on US-61/Brady Street then head back to Moline. The construction detour will start in downtown Moline. We'll head south on 19th street and get back onto I-74 and finish up outside of the airport.
The I-74 corridor has been in need of a major overhaul. Average daily traffic counts are expected to reach 99,000 vehicles per day by 2035 (ILDOT).
