I love your uncomplicated way of performing classic card tricks. I am now 68 years old, have financed 3/4 of my life with magic, have been lucky enough to meet greats like Dai Vernon, Ed Marlo, Harry Lorayne etc. personally, and even today close-up is my favorite area. In my day there was no internet, our world was magic congresses and seminars. Al Goshman visited Switzerland, organized by Roberto Giobbi, what an event. I have hundreds of books on magic, read them all several times, was a member of the same magic ring with Roberto Giobbi (we grew up in the same city in Switzerland, Basel), discussed magic for hours, and he was my role model even then. Yes, today UA-cam is the measure of all things. But believe me; my magic library, my handwritten notes, I wouldn't want to miss any of that. Your videos (I've only seen two) are well made, your technique is excellent, so I will continue to follow your channel. with magical greetings from Switzerland André
Andre, hello!! It's a great honor for me to know that a professional magician watches my videos and rates them positively. Thank you for your kind words. Yes, these guys are legends, their contribution to card tricks is great. Oh, the event with Roberto must have been excellent, his card college is quite an interesting project. I especially liked the section with forcing, +2 force which I use))
@@YardaFa Hello Yarda Unfortunately, my English isn't the best. I didn't just meet Roberto Giobbi once, we were in the same magic circle in Basel for about 4 years. We met every two weeks. Since Roberto didn't have a car at the time, I always drove him home and we played cards in my car in front of his front door, usually for an hour or an hour and a half. That was a great time. He was my inspiration, I learned a lot from him. I was able to read excerpts from the manuscript for his first book "Card College 1", which was typed on a typewriter. It was a great time. Books, books, books, conferences, Tamariz, Ascanio, Fred Kaps. Martin Nash is still an inspiration to me today. Oh my God, so many gifted magicians that I was able to get to know personally. And no, today's Internet is not damaging to magic. At 68, I am still regularly involved. I love close-up, card and coin magic... and of course the absolutely classic Dai Vernon cup game, which I perform at every performance. I don't know how old you are, I just like your relaxed manner. Keep it up. with magical greetings from Switzerland André
Andre, your English is excellent)) It is a great honor for me to have a dialogue with you, albeit in text form, but it means a lot to me. Robert made a significant contribution to card tricks, this is certainly true. And Dai Vernon is a legend, his ideas are simply incomparable. A man who became a legend. Every self-respecting card trickster should know Vernon's triumph and cutting the aces)) I also had a period when I studied tricks with coins and also studied with rubber bands. But still, I like cards the most) Thank you for your kind words, I am pleased to know that you like what I do)) Thank you for your support!!
Very very nice! I was really surprised by the effect. Good job!
