    This past year, I have found that what you are saying is so true with regard to what impact a photo has on people that view it. As far as "likes" are concerned, I get far more on photos that evoke emotion that ones that may be good technically, but don't make the viewer "feel" something. BTW, I'm a hobbyist, not a professional.
