    I LOVE your Blend product. With only 2 applications (August 2020 and March 2021) my plants have tripled in size and bloom. I was using Blend to help break up my clay soil, which it’s doing such a great job, but unexpectedly Blend has also given me the added bonus of the healthiest and most vigorous plants I’ve ever grown❣️Thanks John I’ll be adding it again this fall👍

    Hi, John what a great transformation that garden is stunning. I just wanted to make this comment for viewers. There is no more guess work. I don't have to think about what am I going to use. I use Blend and Nourish Biosol that's it. I would like to encourage anyone having issues in the lawn or garden to try these products. I did 3 years ago and am impressed as ever. Thanks John for your product and friendship. Your videos are always packed with information for us garden guru's.

    Soil based gardening is the synergistic cycle of life. Certainly not boring. We are all interdependent.

    Do you always apply it to the surface? Do you ever use it in the planting hole?

    • @JohnandBobs
      @JohnandBobs  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, we always use some in the backfill in the top 1/3 of the planting hole in every new plant we install. While doing so we make sure some of our product touches the roots of the new plants because of the special fungal ingredients we have that attaches themselves to roots for the benefit of the plant and the soil.

    What about slugs & snails? They were terrible and attacked my Hostas last year. Beer traps were minimally effective.

      Sluggo works effectively for me for slugs/snails. Also, applying beneficial nematodes are not only great for soil in general and are really complementary with our products, but they're also effective against slugs. You can purchase them from Arbico Organics online.

    I loved the amaryllis. Looks like a watsonia. So being South African it strikes a chord. All beautiful though.

      You are correct - it looks like a Watsonia, because it is Watsonia. There are beautiful Amarylis in this garden, but they are not clearly identified in our video. We will clear that up next week with a clear identification of Watsonia vs Amarylis, which don't look very similar. Both are thriving here with soil based gardening.

    I have seen a man dig his kitchen waste straight into the beds. Uncomposted. Or should I say composting in situ.
