@@TheChicagoJunkieNobody will ever empathize with us. I red the comments under the German trailer of this film and the amount of hate, fascism and bullying towards autistic people is shocking. Why should we be part of a world, that hates us, when we could shut the door behind us and be where we belong? I fear the future. Last year I saw a documentary about non verbal autism and there was a part of the film, where we heared an audio recording from Himmler. “Autistic kids don’t give a _____.” “Autistic kids are in their own little world.” That’s not true for everyone. I used to be more severely autistic than the kid in the film, and when the doctors told me that I wouldn’t go to college, I got so worried I started crying myself to sleep every night. So when I started therapy for autism, I tried my absolute hardest to improve. What were the results of that hard work? Well, now, I’m so high functioning that I’m practically not even autistic anymore. So I wasn’t in my own little world any more than other kids. I just struggled with a lot of things and had severe social anxiety when I was a kid. Therapy and my hard work helped me overcome these challenges. Music was also very powerful for me. I started learning music when I was in elementary school, and music was really the only thing that decreased my anxiety and calmed me down. As I learned music more and more, music became more and more internalized in my brain, and my mind got increasingly calmer and better organized. With a calm state of mind, I was able to pick up on the skills my therapies were teaching me easier. These days, I make music in my head and use my walking pace as a metronome, and this has become a very effective stimming activity for me.

Just saw it on an AMC Screen Unseen preview and it was terrific! Will Fitzgerald does an amazing job - he’s never even acted before!
I just got finished watching watching this movie. What a wonderful story . I highly recommend it
He's my boy's age and the hug got me. Sometimes I just want to hug him but he doesn't like it. I worry about him becoming an adult and taking care of himself. He's my world.😮
As a Minor with autism and ADHD who got sent this by my dad who has ADHD, I fucking love this and I wanna watch this
@Inktheaxolotlrabbit I actually agree on what you think and wrote, I could relate to the boy and their family trouble even with ADHD (without the hyperactive part in my case).
The society' s knowledge about this personality types might be the key to solve a lot of our difficulties in daily life. Hope you get my point😅
Huh. 🤔 My niece step son named Ezra. Maybe someday I’ll have children of my own. But for now… I can do what I do best…. Be there… Be supportive and be the best Uncle and great uncle I can be. Everything happens for a reason. Someone special in past. Taught me the greatest lesson in life… Patience 🙏. Everything happens for a reason.
*Beautiful!*
I have never almost cried watching a movie trailer before
As an adult with autism who always works with autstic children, I can't WAIT to see this movie. It looks really powerful and heartwarming.
I was waiting for a long time to see a movie like this. Tony Goldwyn is on my best list.
Absolutely love this. It's like watching my own life with my little dude. Thank you 🙏❤️
Im a 35 year old with Asperger's Syndrome a rare form of autism high functioning.
I think im gonna go see this with my father.
This looks amazing ❤love Bobby Canavale
I was already about to cry, then heard "Carry You" by Novo Amor and that was it. 🥰
This was a wonderful, and thoughtful movie. I am so glad I saw it in the movie theater today.
This, looks amazing!!!
This will do phenomenally well > soooooo many can relate as evident by the comments.
Sooooo many out there who will surely see this multiple times...maybe even end up being a Forest Gump where you come back to it through the years.
Fantastic Trailer 👍.... which I've already watched multiple times.

Holy crap the cast alone.
Tentatively really looking forward to this movie
Look this movie looks great and all but, having Sam Wheat's killer this close to Oda Mae Brown again is triggering me.
😂 😂
Omg 😂😂😂😂
That is a gem 💎 and I love it! Ditto ♥️
When and where can I watch this? I’ve got a 16 yr old on the spectrum and tearing up watching this trailer.
A powerful story that needs to be told ❤
my son is named Ezrah and he’s autistic! can’t wait to watch this 🥹
As an autistic screw this movie "I dont want him in his own world, i want him in his". This movie is just there to make parents feel better.
When is this out?
I just saw the movie at a special screening, beautiful film from start to finish
This definitely hit hard cant wait to see it
Just saw this movie June 2nd. Great movie. Robert Deniro did an exceptional job. Bobby Cannavale is also very good.
We both saw the NY Premiere with Birch Family Services. We are both Autistic Twins. Beautiful Movie.
Ok... This movie got like a stellar casting going for it! Like for real!
Vera farmiga,
Robert De Niro,
Rainn wilson...
Why is everyone saying Robert DeNiro is washed up? He looks like he's still making movies and still on top of his game?
People are mad because he spoke out his own political opinion. I love him and I’m going to see this movie because I don’t care about politics
Thank you for knowing that he’s still amazing
this reminds me of my son. “i want him in this world”😭🤧
crying - can't wait to see it
The way the credits rolled it’s kinda implied that they’re also “Introducing” Robert De Niro. 🤣😂
Cool trailer
This looks good! Great cast too.
This is one film I want to watch xx
Beautiful movie!!
“I want him in this world “ 😭😭😭
It's his world too! I say that to jerks who stare at my autistic son when he stims in public
Interesting film to watch because I’m also autistic (asperger syndrome) would see some enlightenment for to shine for all autistic people in the world to see…🤗
Can't wait to watch this.
great choice of music.
Looks great!!!
Might be the first movie I cry to
Deniro is a Stone cold legend
I’m not crying! You’re crying!
What’s the song being played
I can see how deniro wanted to be in this movie. Since there is so much mental illness that runs in him and his family , it really hits close to home for him
Autism is not a mental illness. It is a developmental condition. What the former President has is a mental illness.
Autism is not a mental illness
This beautiful trailer made me tear can imagine when I c the movie 😢but I'm excited
I can really feel this film will connect well w/all movie watchers. 👍🎬🤪
as an autistic i dont think is a movie for autistics, this is movie for parents with autistic kids
