I don't see a problem with the height of the lid. It's not like it takes up extra space, and you could probably come up with a way to cover the feeding hole. I've read some good reveiws on these smart clean tanks. Hope you like yours! I'll be watching for your reveiw. 😎✌🍄
I hate the lids on the fish tanks now. If you need to do anything you have to take the lid totally off and have water run all over. I prefer the old tanks that had a flip section at the front.
So raise the lid and tilt for any condensation to run off into the tank. Can't say I've ever found it to be an issue. The only time you take it off is to clean it. I love the design.
