Agree. I've heard other versions that try to turn it into something thematic. The very nature of it is its simplicity and fun. Just proves once again that if Willie Dixon isn't the father of the Blues, he's at least an uncle.
Agree with this, but not sure about the Stones royalties issue. Mick and Keef may have been jackasses to some of their peers and even members of their own group, but they also had great respect for the people they got their music from, either directly or indirectly. They generally gave credit where credit was due.

No.. the whole thing stays on the one.. Keeps the same bass riff all the way thru as well. It's a great "show closer"..
