Jady, you're a great mom! How do you get your kids to sit and stay focused? I have 5 kids ages 5 months to 10 years old. My two year old wants to run away after a minute or two.

Well that's kind of normal for a 2 year old. However, making learning fun and not too long is key, and staying calm having a consistent routine. Also, when you have older kids (like JadyA) who also do learning time, the younger will want to follow to feel like they're doing something.

For how long do you do each activity? As in do you do it for a couple of weeks then switch them out? Do you do it until they master it? I start feeling overwhelmed with so many options my kids have around here and I want to get through them, I don’t want them to get bored, I want them to have variety but how do you get through everything consistently? Thanks! I have been following you for years and I think you do an amazing job!

Jady may have some good ideas for you, but in case my own experience is helpful to you, three is such a beautiful age because kids can become interested in things like letters and numbers and, with help, learn to identify them. But three is also still very small and counting will come in time. Sometimes a break away from numbers and a focus on something else like playing physically with tactile toys or nature is a great way to encourage the brain and body to grow and they will be ready for counting higher than ten in their own time.

Just keep counting from 10 - 15 give her in short time span
Constantly repeat it. If the child is hand one give him/ her things to count within those number and have her write the total counted down. Repetition is key to learning additional information. Please be patient.
