  • Rigid Inflatable Boat or RIB have long been the choice for Special Forces Units like the Navy Seals, Marine Recon and Army Rangers. RIBs are known for their speed, durability, smooth ride and fantastic weight to strength ratios. RIBs have been tried and tested in battles all over the world. At home, units like the US Coast Guard, Fire, Search, and Rescue teams use RIBs every day in some of the roughest waters around.
In recreational boating RIBs have been primarily used as tenders for larger yachts to get people and supplies back and forth to the docks in shallow ports. Recently companies like Roughneck Marine are changing that. With RIBs like the Roughneck 1010 featured in this video, RIBs are becoming more popular to recreational boaters than ever. Watch and learn why.
Join Clarks Landing Yacht Sales as they explain why RIBs are quickly becoming more than the "4x4 of the sea". If you are considering a new recreational boat and never considered a RIB, this video is for you!

Yeah the ability of RHIBs to run hulls with greater amounts of deadrise is pretty cool, without the tubes stability would suck! At low speed it would rock back and forth constantly and when on plane would want to chine walk and roll inboard on turns probably at frightening levels! Great video.
