Really good video. Found out about Rommel via Littlewarstv youtube channel. They didn't discuss gameplay so much. Your video was helpful in explaining this aspect of the game. Thanks for doing this video. I'll explore your channel for more rommel as I'm considering picking up the rules. 👍

Not a whole lot. I do have another example, as well as a flip-through review. I am currently editing a full BatRep as well, if I can find time. It really is a great system for fighting WWII battles on a grand scale. If you are looking for something different, and something for bigger battles, I deff. recommend this game. Easy to learn, yet full of depth to keep your interest. Thanks for the comment, WC. Take care.

@@Forge_n_Brush there's not enough good Rommel content out there. Your videos for it are head and shoulders above the majority of what I did find.
As I mentioned, with little wars showcasing it with their huge D-Day Rommel game, the game popped up on my radar. It was pretty stealth before that for me.
Surprised you only did the videos you have for it. They are well done and are probably just the support the game needs to get people taking a good look at it.
I'd certainly like to see you do more Rommel content. There is a big vacancy you could fill and you'd be the go to channel for it. Especially with your style of explaining the game. Well done and keep it rolling.

interesting mechanics, definitely a hint of Blucher in there for the elan. I may have missed it, but why were the Germans tipped? I didn't understand that.

In this case they fought a battle crossing the river. They lost and retreated back to their current location. Retreating units are always tipped. There are other reasons as well, such as using road movement. Honestly, I don't recall exactly why these units were tipped at the start of the American combat phase. I am guessing it was from retreating. Regardless, it was a tough situation for them. Thanks, Ian. It really is a fun game that really is focused on the grand tactics of WWII combat. I like it.
