Don't get your Sam's confused. Sam Thomkins and Sam Perry Fowler are not the same. The former sings, the latter is the cinematographer. Back on 74 is Brooke's bop btw.
The one take thing is typical for classical music and also busking. You can't stop and ask to do it again. Ren has learned from this experience as he has about the importance of silence and the need to constantly find new ways to engage the audience's attention. He has said that busking also taught him to perform to one or two people and trust that the bigger crowd will magically appear! Let's see Brooke respond to 'Losing it' or 'Love Music'.
No. Sam isn't part of the Big Push. And he's not a singer. He's a tech guy. Who taught himself cameraman skills. And production, and he's Ren's photographer too.
You won’t ever get in trouble for playing Ren music without stops. He doesn’t copy write strike reactors because he says everyone deserves to get paid.
Yay! So glad Brooke came back!! Seeing someone in the industry appreciate the artwork is so cool to me. There's one cut against the green wall at the beginning, just before you see the first Bag head, and another behind the wheelchair just before the strings. Animal Flow is kinda a fun but cinematic song/video, even if it's dark. Losing it would be a good, fun, bop type song for her to get hooked on. It plays in my head a lot, very catchy, very fun in nature. Since the fun ones are shorter, you should do 2-3 of them, so she has a few kickin songs of Ren's to put in her playlist.
Money game 3 does refer to money game 1 with the final sentence....." .......Then he presses on the trigger of a money game "...... All though you do not have to watch them in order , I recommend you do. Still nice reaction.
A good off-the-beaten-path Big Push combo is Icarus followed by Behind the Push, a BTS mockumentary with Ren as a golden skinned, Greek demi-god in Icarus's band.
it is possible there is a cut when switching to the strings but as far as I'm aware the only acknowledged cut is just before the 'rain' falls towards the end of the video. A cut was necessary to sort out a suitable mic for a wet scene
A couple on not so heavy tracks: the red suspenders version of the big push i shot the sheriff. "For Joe" and Mackay. I don't think Mackay gets enough love...
There's no argument about the cut. Ren said they chose to make 1 cut at the point just before he is sitting down and the rain falls. Because it was too risky if something went wrong there. Something did go wrong there by the way. You can see the strings performer getting rained on due to malfunctioning or badly positioned sprinkler. I think Ren said something about having to compensate her, and that she was a trooper playing through the unplanned rain.
Other's have said it, but here's hoping you actually see it, because I'm starting to question you look at your comments. Sam Perry Fowler is the videographer, the Sam he used to busk with, is Sam Thomkins. NOT the same Person! The one thing they have in common besides Ren, is both of them usually sport a beard.
@@JonniPants I'm trying to bring my teenagers, but it's their mom's birthday and... let's just say it'll be a buzz kill if I have to bring my ex-wife ;) I didn't know tickets were available for pre-sale. Man, I have not been excited about a new artist in a long time. It’s not “just” music. There are musicians and then there are ARTISTS. Ren never fails to prove which one you’re watching. But beyond that, it’s magic. He changes people. He changes hearts and minds… that is an incredibly rare, special and important thing. I hope to god that he himself sees that and TRULY understands it. Ren has SHAKESPEAREAN levels of talent and skill that could very well lead to him standing among the best that have ever been. ☮️♥️
Samuel Perry-Falvey is the director/producer. He met the singer sam tompkins on the streets of Brighton. You should watch chinchilla and Ren's collabs, and i shot the sherif with the big push.
To my mind Jimmy is a metaphor for all of us, and "Daddy" a symbol for peer pressure, financial expectations, capitalistic judgments of what defined "success", etc. From this view, no matter how self aware we feel we are we probably are buying into multiple layers of the money game many times a day
2nd comment at the end - Samuel Perry-Falvey is a cinematographer and Ren's frequent co-director. As far as I know, he doesn't sing, but you can see him driving Ren around in the video for "Power". Sam Tompkins is a singer and was Ren's frequent busking partner, but is not a cinematographer and wasn't in the band, The Big Push. In fact, Ren's first viral video was a busking duet with Sam Tompkins you should definitely check out - "Earned It/Man's World/Falling". Sam recently released an album and I think it hit #5 on the U.K. charts - "hi, my name is insecure". The Big Push is the most recent band Ren was in, but they broke up when Ren left for Canada to get treatment. The other guitarist in the band, Romain Axisa, was the guitarist in "Money Game 1". There are quite a few great videos of them performing on the street.
@@silverash63 Yes. Ren's album, "Sick Boi" was #1. Sam Tompkins' album "hi, my name is insecure" was released #5 just a few weeks ago if I got the stats right.

Love the reaction and having Brooke's actor pov! As a former actor myself, I'm drawn to studying Ren's facial expressions and body language which are extraordinary. An incomparable talent! ❣️🦇❣️🦇❣️🦇❣️
They only had one day to film so they had to get it right as it would cost a lot of money to go to a second day. In the second part they would have to stop before Ren sat back down in the wheelchair if something was off. Once the rain came, that part was committed to. Amazing they could do it. Of course, this is Ren. Thank you for the reaction and bringing Brooke back. Please more, and doooooo watch the behind the scenes for Money Game 3. I think you would enjoy seeing how this all came about and the on the spot changes that were made to the layout.
Bitter Sweet Symphony was a road trip summer bop for me and friends decades ago. I didn’t search to listen to it at the time but when you asked for bops the memories came back ♥️
You won't get "in trouble" for playing Ren videos all the way thru. In fact, Ren also allows reactors to monetize reactions to his videos. I'm shocked you don't know this already considering the fan you've become.
1 cut where Scott mentioned, just before rain @ wheelchair. 9-10 takes to get the final product for the first half and 17-18 takes for second half (Info from the first livestream video on RenMakesStuff)
Sam Tompkins is who busks as a duo with Ren in a bunch of videos and has a great solo career, Samuel Perry-Falvey is the cinematographer and neither are in a band with him. The Big Push is made up of Ren, Romain Axisa, Gorran Kendall and Glen Chambers.
I wish you had shown her all 3. Not necessary, of course. But more fun. And... why not? The money bag would have had more context, for sure. And the rain at the end means more. And the final line means more. Seriously, if you share this with someone again, I disagree with you, and think it's better to show all 3, in order, at one time.
You are confusing your Sam's, I think someone else mentioned but Sam Tompkins is the singer and also he is not in The Big Push, that consists of Romain Axisa, Gorran Kendall, Glen Chambers and Ren, loved the reaction and your excitement and enthusiasm ❤

The reason for the rain at the end relates back to the chorus from MG 1: Rain, rain, rain, rain. A storm it comes our way.
Sam is not in the band but he is driving the car in 'Power'...... which you should watch if you have not already done so....
Brooke should watch It’s Alright by the big push..it’s my absolute favourite by them and a brilliant uplifting song 😊

Without possibly being aware of it, Ren is as good an actor as he is a musician just by instinct.
Sam Tompkins doesn't sing in The Big Push... He's a solo artist that Ren has collabed with several times, in Blind Eyed, lots of busking, etc.

Theres a second cut per Sam. It's when he pulls the bag from his head. It was really hot and you can see his hair is wet, then dry
Bro back on 74 / message in a bottle retake for the next one 💯
Two cuts.Removing hood and turning wheelchair,
💯. For some reason people are resistant to this fact. Sam said so him self
One cut...when the camera pans behind the wheelchair.
