Thanks for inviting us along with you Andrew on this trip and what a day it was with three lovely silvers but must say the silver shilling has to be the find of the day, quite a rare find, even more so your way. Great stuff mate 👍😀👋 Tony
Gday Tony. I was happy with finding it. Always interesting to see whose head is going to show up. No worries with coming along. You know you are always welcome. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Love all the finds, but my favourites are the brooch and shilling.. had a nice sniff 😆😍
Gday Lee. Very happy with those two finds. The broach is beautifully crafted. Take care mate 😁👍

Gday Joe. Was a good lot of stuff found. Very happy with it all. May never know what the square coin thing is but it is a cool find. Take care mate 😁👍
Ripper hunt Andrew, plenty of silver is always nice. Thanks for sharing.

Goldfields piece of 8. Fantastic hunt mate, great to see you on the silver

Well done Andrew, you winkled out some lovely bits of silver and history from among the trash, see you soon and all the best 👍😊❤
Gday Bill and Julie. Very happy with what I got. Very happy with the silver. Broach was exquisite. Hope you are both well 🦘🦘😁👍

That was a great video mate I love how you virtually take us along for the journey with you….thank you for a top shelf video happy hunting 😊👍
Glad you enjoyed the outing with us all. Hope there was enough room to see what was going on😁. Thanks for watching 👍😁
That is a beautiful coin CBK. Absolute beaut.
Very pleased I got it at the end Dani 😁👍
And here I am sitting thinking you found three silver buttons......
Hahaha. With me, that wasn’t out of the realms of possibility. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
Hi Andrew, that has to go dowm as one of your best ever hunts, pulling up 3 silvers out of that trash filled land. George IV silver is hard enough to find in the UK, so to find it down under is impressive. Good work my friend, seeu in around 4 months
Gday Gareth. It was a good hunt but I have had more silver but not as old silver. The KG4 was a ripper of a find. Don’t get too many of his coins down here at all.
It won’t be long. Viv keeps telling me how long it is before we leave, not that she is counting 🤣🤣. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Nice little pun at the end “secret location” 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching 😁👍
Congrats on your great finds! The one with the roman number, it look like a 17th century 8 maravedis Spanish copper coin, excellent find.
Thanks for that bit of info. Will have to look it up. Would be cool if it was. Thanks for watching 😁👍
That was a awesome day out the wild silvers and some cool finds stay safe out there mate Cheers
Gday Terry. Very pleased with the silvers I got. Was a beautiful day out. Hope you are well. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
A another good day! Thanks for sharing!
It was. Thanks for watching 😁👍
Nice work Andrew, some great finds there and a strong finish with the silver. Cheers Pete
Gday Pete. Was a very good day out. I was happy with my finish too. Been a bit light on of late. Take care mate 😁👍
Great hunt, glad to see a silver coin. But, I really liked the broken cross piece. One cannot help but wonder what happened. Then the coin looked burnt so maybe a fire. Thank you for the video.
Gday Marta. Those are probably my two favourite bits of the hunt. It is interesting to contemplate what happened to bits and pieces in their life. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Thanks for the look
Thanks for watching Daniel 😁👍
Great hunt, looks like that mystery item is a 1600’s Roman plectrum, with a brass hardness of 8, definitely for play heavy medieval,.. 😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣 you could well be right. Thanks for watching Jeff 😁👍
Good work again mate,thank you
Thanks for watching Malcolm. Glad you enjoyed it 😁👍
Hey Andrew, you had a successful day out, I liked the broach, it’s always exciting when you find one caked in dirt and there’s the anticipation of what will appear under the dirt when you start cleaning, lovely old shilling too congrats
Gday William. Think they were the best finds for the day. That broach is a ripper. Beautiful detail in it. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
Well done Andrew! FHB & LHB! Nice G4
Gday Paul. Very happy with them all 😁👍
Supper great way to end the day 😊
I was very pleased with it Glenno😁👍
Good evening CBK!
I hope by you
That it's ok
If I return tomorrow
There's something rattling round upstairs
And it's hard for me to follow
I'm trying to chase it down right now
But all the halls are hollow
My brain cells have all gone to bed
And once again I'll follow.
Cheers and goodnight, Andrew and Viv
Hope all is well with you! Hooray!
No worries mate. See you tomorrow. Sleep tight 💋
The manticore knows 😅
Gday Kirk. Good to hear from you. Hope you are well. We are. Take care mate
🦘🦘😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid doing good Andrew. Moved to another state. Just getting settled in. Stay golden friend. 👍👊✌️😆🇺🇸⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️
G'day CBK! Did pipes have hinged caps on them, I was thinking small fobwatch, but now im not so sure, it did have a different rim to what id expect to find on a watch!
Ok! Straighten me out here, Is the Silver sniffing exclusive to coins, because I was excersizing and clearing the passages in preperation for that almighty sniff because my nose doesn't smell as good as it use too, that could probably go for the rest of what its attached to as well. I digress, what was i talking about. Oh! Yeah, Well you didn't so I didn't! Looks more like a razor to me, just in the way its curved. I could not have left that transfer ware behind, your a stronger man than I am young Andrew! It was a brilliant broach even before dicovering it was silver, excellent find! In a lot of movies ive seen, they allways say dont walk into the light, im confused, have they been lying to me. I did see the crown as well, I don't know what that token or coin like object is, but id definitely want to find out, it almost looks ancient. That suspender buckle looks far more venomous than a snake buckle, Check out the size of its fangs, Thats it! No suspender buckles for me! A hay bale rope will have to suffice! I was ready for this silver, I brought along a nose I had prepared earlier! I dont think ive ever sniffed an older silver, boy i am spoilt! Excellent find! Dont get me started on B words, I did that once, over at Lukes, of DID. Spent ages trying to go to sleep that night, because I couldn't turn it off. Ill take a day full of relics anytime, but ill never say no to a silver! Going by what ive written above, id say a good percentage of my brain cells have taken an extended weekend leave.
It wouldn't be a great saturday
Without an adventure
With the great CBK.
Always good company, Thanks Mate, Cheers Andrew, Cheers Viv!
Gday Wayne. The European pipes used to have a cap on the bowl and they had a long upright stem.
Yes I think I have only reserved sniffing for coins. Glad I got the coin so you could use the nose you had prepared earlier.
Was a great day out. Don’t need to bring everything home with me. Good to leave something’s behind.
Glad you enjoy coming along. We enjoy that you are with us. Take care mate 😁👍
Hi Andrew and Viv,
that was a nice cast broach mate.
For someone that knows how casting works can appreciate things like that,
I’ve dabbled in reverse casting of cornices centre pieces and corbels,
I became a fibrous plaster when i had to change profession from working with leather 😂, nice wild silver shilling mate
Congrats 👍👍
Gday Jim. Castings are an interesting thing to play with as you have to work in the reverse. Very pleased to have found the piece. Beautiful workmanship. Happy with the shilling too 😁👍
Wonderful finds! Enjoying your videos :)
Glad you are enjoying them and thanks for watching 😁👍
Nice work mate. 👌 start the treatment next week. So looking forward to get back out there. Camping in bush this weekend just for outlet. No detecting. 3 months time should be doing well and getting back into it 😊
Gday Adam. Good luck with everything. You are a tough bugger and will be back out in no time. Take care mate 😁👍
Wild silver, CBK! Ooh, 1825, but is it a groat or a thrip? And you know I'm likely highly intrigued by the rounded square piece with the "VIII" hammered, there, I said it, on each side, and my suspicions drift to the possibility of Spanish or Portuguese currency, maybe re-monetized, some British coinage was re-minted with George III in miniature portrait over another coin, and with the practice of adding chopmarks to various international currency, nearby an 1825 silver, this may be important to consider. It's not like any of the Proclamation coinage I'm aware of. It was a surprise not to see it in greater detail in the wrap-up, but figured it may be still subject to your or another's further investigation! Isn't it also silver? Intriguing, I declare! The G of the Big V.
Gday Gabi. Very happy with the silver. Was aware of the English taking over other currencies but don’t know about this one. It is copper alloy. Looks like it should be something but lacks enough detail to work it out. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
you have some good spots bush coffee
It would appear so. Thanks for watching 😁👍
That’s using the old schnozz!
Hasn’t had much of a workout of late Dug🦘🦘😁👍
