this sucks...been a year without my motorized shades, and they are literally 20 feet in the air to program. Try holding a button 7 seconds with one hand and the other hand holding onto the ladder without falling. even then, i can't get past the reset phase. Thanks a lot Bali.
As my mother aged, she got to where she could no longer operate standard blinds. So, out of necessity I ordered these “way over priced” blinds. Installation was not difficult. However, trying to program the remote was ridiculous. I followed the instructions step by step at least 25 times. After about 4 hours I gave up and called for tech support. I finally got them working. However, from time to time the remote requires reprogramming and here I go again. 2 weeks ago I replaced the batteries in the blinds and the remote stopped working. I replaced the battery in the remote and still no go. I manually raised the blinds and they have been raised for 2 weeks. I could do nothing else until I had the time and opportunity to be available, at my mother’s house, and once again call tech support. So, today I do not have to go to work…and what do I get to do on my day off? I get to go to my Mom’s house and play with these ridiculously overpriced blinds while feeling like a dummy as someone, once again, over the phone, talks me through the process….The programming steps are not difficult to understand, but boy does that remote have an attitude….
I replaced my remote batteries and had the same issue. I called tech support and they said in the future, to prevent remote from re-setting and unpairing to only remove and replace 1 battery at a time. Thankfully, I have the app on my phone and ipad and have them paired with my shades, so I can control them with my mobile devices until I get my remore re-paired.
These blinds have been one of the worst buys I’ve ever made. I have to reprogram them every time I change batteries. Last time I replaced batteries the stupid remote stopped working altogether and the instructions in this video or the manual don’t work. Stay away from this garbage

Yup, my remote control stopped working after dropping on floor. No way to get a new remote or program. Bali is a useless product.

The remote programming and instructions are terrible - I would not have ever bought the blinds knowing what I know now. TERRIBLE!!
