As someone who lives in 6inch + heels… put all your weight on the ball of your feet and keep your weight centered!! Ive never tried 8+ inch heel.. I want to try them though!!
as a dancer and heel lover, ive found its best to keep the weight further forward as that is lowest to the ground and counteracts the weight. thats just my personal experience, each to their own.
