I'd hate to try and find enough storage room for six people in this van. It might reduce weight but I bet those canvas boxes don't last long before look tatty. Really don't see the value in any of the base camps, it's more of a gimmicky van.
We looked at these, then bought our Discovery D4-4. Never looked back. 😊

Yes they did it for 2 years but production was an issue with parts etc, so not a huge amount of them. Limited Edition 😉.
My concern is, if you have 6 bikes at the back is the nose weight. And the MPTLM.

@@thecaravanplace The plate can be uprated to 1500KG for about £60 so bags more payload avalable if your car is able to tow 1500KG

Yes if you Google swift basecamp awning there are a few options from about £300 upwards.
Kampa rally 200 works well, Vango RVA1 or RVA 2
