Thanks for clearing that up James. I deleted the other post. When you started talking gear and rigging, I was totally tuned in. We're gonna do a fishing camp out up there soon. Tight lines!

@@ReviewsChannel-e4r You should check out my newest video, I give a pretty detailed description of gear used. A Double D is dodger made by Mack’s Lure it’s the standard at the lake Chrome 8inch. @@scottsavinski9311 Nice good spot for boats to launch not so much a kayaker haha. I had Camping July24th-August 3rd this years early run messed it all up for me. By the time I got there for camping and fishing the lake was pretty much dead!
Argh it’s does get windy! I was there last Weds morning and around 9:30a it got really breezy to the point it was hard to steer the boat I was in. Was it a zoo or did it calm down a bit? Saturday was crazy busy.

With 4oz I’m usually back between 35-55 ft. Usually I’ll start out 40ft on 1 rod and 50ft on the other and go from there. Trolling slow like I do I feel it keeps my gear pretty close to the depth I figure 40ft on counter and I’m fishing 35ft deep.

Do you only fish the noisy creek area? I took my pontoon out to baker lake the other day and that’s wayyy to far for me with my battery launching out of panarama point. Don’t think I could make it from the swift creek launch either. Wondering if there’s fish around within a mile of either of the launches. As I only get about 5-6 hours of battery life for my trolling motor battery and have a top speed of 3mph. Thanks
All this action is actually more on the Shannon Creek side. Yeah that’s tough with just a trolling motor, I think Gas motor is your best bet to get out there and trolling motor to fish. You could also look into get a Lithium battery they last longer and much lighter. Starting to come down in price 350$. At 3mph it will take about 15-20 mins to get to fishing grounds, I’m sure there are still fish around other areas but my experience has been fishing the main bubble that everyone fishes.
