      What do you mean by double D type flasher ? You mean like and Abe and Al type flasher that rotates 360? Dodgers flash side to side, a 180 half rotation. Thank you James.

    • @Fishfuzzlove
      @Fishfuzzlove  Рік тому +3

      @@ReviewsChannel-e4r You should check out my newest video, I give a pretty detailed description of gear used. A Double D is dodger made by Mack’s Lure it’s the standard at the lake Chrome 8inch. A dodger goes side to side a flasher goes 360 is how I understood it yes. I tried a flasher earlier in video, wouldn’t work because troll speed is too slow.

    Nice work at BL! Is that an Eagle Claw Feather Light? I use those for trout/kokanee but didn't think it had the back bone for sockeye.

      @@Fishfuzzlove I think for health purposes being aware of how much you piss out is a good thing. Alarming how quickly that sunrype bottle fills up. I need to drink more water. Hey tell me why you have your rod holders angling back? The way you them set up. I just got a pair of Yak Attack Omegas, found out after some folks have lost their rods. Question is... I would have thought the tips in front so you can see when they twitch. AND pointing them back there's a better chance they slip out?

      @@AW-xv7dq Water is very important👍 Do you have a pedal drive yak? If so you might want to get the 8in extensions otherwise butt of Rod will be in pedaling path. I use Omegas they are great, never lost anything. I know how to use the drag;) always keep loose. I also have one with dual screws into track just in case. It’s very secure. I angle them back purely for the viewer, I personally love seeing the take downs it’s my favorite part haha. How far out do you go on your line counting reels?

    • @Fishfuzzlove
      @Fishfuzzlove  Рік тому +3

      With 4oz I’m usually back between 35-55 ft. Usually I’ll start out 40ft on 1 rod and 50ft on the other and go from there. Trolling slow like I do I feel it keeps my gear pretty close to the depth I figure 40ft on counter and I’m fishing 35ft deep.

    Do you only fish the noisy creek area? I took my pontoon out to baker lake the other day and that’s wayyy to far for me with my battery launching out of panarama point. Don’t think I could make it from the swift creek launch either. Wondering if there’s fish around within a mile of either of the launches. As I only get about 5-6 hours of battery life for my trolling motor battery and have a top speed of 3mph. Thanks

    • @Fishfuzzlove
      @Fishfuzzlove  Рік тому +1

      All this action is actually more on the Shannon Creek side. Yeah that’s tough with just a trolling motor, I think Gas motor is your best bet to get out there and trolling motor to fish. You could also look into get a Lithium battery they last longer and much lighter. Starting to come down in price 350$. At 3mph it will take about 15-20 mins to get to fishing grounds, I’m sure there are still fish around other areas but my experience has been fishing the main bubble that everyone fishes.
