Not kidding this guy taught me so much how to play as someone undersized (even if it was just at the park 😂) He def had the potential to be top 5 in the world. What a player
had? Why do y'all act like he's old and on the way out? Plus if you actually look at his numbers they've all been better than his "prime" years while having more scoring options on his recent teams as well. Makes no sense to me personally
@@Shadow-ro3gbonce you hit the 30 in the nba, fans put players in the nursing home unfortunately. Terry Rozier got traded and so many people were like “ so, he’s old af” lol
I grew up in the Iverson era, even watched him live 3 times in his philly prime days in the late 90's and early 2000's. He's really revolutionized the cross over and crazy handles and one on one iso's. Im in awe watching him, at 6 foot he's basically unguardable. But this guy put it another level. I don't care what people say kyrie is the best one on one player and has the best handles in the league ever.
One underrated thing I love about Kyrie. He doesn’t look for a foul. He looks for the bucket and if he gets fouled then so be it. Also when he gets fouled he doesn’t try to oversell it aka flop. 👊🏽
He got that from Kobe. Kobe would try to draw fouls, but it was always in order to get an And 1 or to keep the defense honest. Most players today just want the free throws. Kyrie is one of the few that’s actually trying to finish the play every time
9:36 is one of the craziest things ive have seen it in my life. To think of a combo like that also to make a body feint and to perform it in that speed in an official game wtf he is insane Its coming from a guy who watched every Iverson Game. kyrie is the goat of handles
As a Kyrie Fan Props for saying this, don’t get me wrong Ai Has Insane Handles But Ky Body Movement,Footwork + Being a Elite Shooter& Finisher Is what takes the Cake
when I learned that Kyrie grew up practicing with a backboard that has broken pieces with it, I just knew that shit is hella impressive... his layup finger rolls are already different from anybody else
If it was anyone else, it would be called outta control, circus shots - somehow Kyrie always gets the bucket at the end of it. Elite handles + elite finishing.
I am from Greece ! I used to play for a team when I was young but I never upgraded my game to the pro level ! I had to go to college and blah blah blah ! But I always had good mid and long range shooting , I always had some kind of athleticism , I was also pretty good and tough at defense but I have never been a very good ball handler ! I wish I had some of Kyrie's dribbling skills in my game !
Kyrie Irving Jonas Valančiūnas Kemba Walker Kawhi Leonard Nikola Vučević Jimmy Butler Bojan Bogdanović Isaiah Thomas 2011 was a year that produced many star players. Especially Kyrie, Thompson, and Leonard, Butler is sure to be inducted into the Hall of Fame after he retires.
I rlly hope Butler can win a ring atleast once before retirement. Hes one of the few players i acc wanna see win at the highest level before its all said and done. That mf a dawg
WHY do people feel the need to redundantly reference OTHER players when watching another player's highlights?! (In THIS case it's Iverson). Let me lay this to rest, Kyrie is superior to Iverson in literally EVERY aspect of the game, and he is THE greatest ball handler, pull up three-point shooter, and finisher at the rim the game has EVER seen.
Kyrie bag over full... Lay ups handles footwork speed control midrange 3 pointers post game 123 dribble pull up...if he had pg height he be unbelievable.....but he got everything in his bag...
This playstyle will not alone win you game. Hes consuming too much energy my friend and I talk about it. And hes perfect role would actually be a robin in a team
alright Mr i’m a professional athlete. that playstyle legit helped win a championship and he has the ability to take over games. his turnover numbers have always been very low for a guy who does all this crazy stuff with the ball. some of the best players in this league want to play with him and hate playing against him

It's ironic how 6'3-6'1 NBA players are the go to for under 6 foot hoopers.
@@MakaveliDiorI’m pretty sure yk why it’s that way tho 😂

Iverson just said it. He said Kyrie is the best ball handler of all time

Exactly. Some of these plays he gets fouled but you rarely if ever see him complaining about missed calls

Bro when I saw this I thought the exact same things , I started laughing because I was like how the hell does this guy move like that 😂
i remember the first time i saw this move, that night i went to the court and practiced it by myself for like 30mins.
Kyrie is beyond great. Kyrie is the assassin you call to kill the assassin. 🎉

You don’t need a media award to be considered one of the greats. He ain’t ever gonna get no mvp playing on Lukas team.
Everybody that plays sports knows he’s a great that’s why there’s so much outrage in the top 75 amongst players in the nba too
