If Panerai wants to be back in the game, improve their entry-level watches: 300 meters watch-resistance; sapphire caseback; decorated movements. IWC is also from the Richemont group and we can get better things for the same price level.
Always loved Panerai - for my the blue equation of time in the rose gold case is still one of the sexiest watches ever made . Here’s hoping Panerai continues to move in the right direction. Personally I think Panerai would do well to promote its bracelet design as it’s fantastic but very rarely gets seen .
All of the watches presented look fabulous, but even the 8 day brown and blue are now out of my price range sadly 😢. The gun metal finishing is making me drool!
They have some really nice 47 mm models in Carbotech that they should do in 44 mm I think . I am not sure but I don’t think there are too many 47 mm buyers these days….I would focus on 45, 44, 42 and 40 mm and a few nice 47 mm models .

@@theoverlord1925 I know but the prices within the product range should make some sense. I know that they know that the California dial is the hot it piece and that they can charge extra. Like most brands Panerai is becoming a fashion brand with new collections each year.
Panerai’s watches are such disappointments, and really don’t hold their value (the real Panerai Experience). Their watches finishing hasn’t been up to their previous standards for years. Plus, they aren’t even diving watches anymore, even though they talk about the history of the brand.
Panerai has started to really grow on me as of late. Fabulous designs.

Can you explain why the California dial one is 3000€ more expensive even though it is the same watch as the 2 others and is missing the second hand?
Was super exciting until I see the price. Rather pick up a steel octo finissimo

Panerai totally failed on marketing... producing way too many concurrent models... resulting in massive devaluation of the brand....
