Good day to you. I am a senior rider on HONDA from Japan. Enjoying touring ,camping and video uploading. This is so nice video Awesome!! Thank you so much for sharing! Full supported ! Have a nice day my friend!!
I would’ve never thought I would want to travel to Vietnam, but that looks like a fun time. What a beautiful place. It looks like anything goes there. The traffic looks like chaos. Thanks for taking time to share this.
Hey! Guys, thank you for sharing this video! I have a great passion for bikes , since birth . Born in Northern Vietnam myself, and raised here in the states. San Clemente, CA where my father bought me my first BMX bike from pep boys as I can remember, but B4 that I had a 3 wheeler, a moped that tops 55 MPH. Rode that moped at the age of 7 if not younger as far as I remember.
Great, great video! I’m going with a friend to do the exact same experience in November 2024! And your video just got me so HYPED! Thank you for the great content! 🙌
Great job Kincade...you really nailed it from our all American perspective. So happy for your presence, help and perspective on this great trip. Now I think, you'll all understand why I've been dreaming about and visiting this country 3 times over the last 56 years. You have a very bright future. PS Thanks for letting me do your sign off.
You bet , a lot of beautiful landscape in Vietnam that the world is now discovering. Many hidden ancient beauty s the untold truth of this magical country where I was born .
Oh! This is a magical country, you best believe man. True fantasy island , Stunning views , especially along the coast line cruising your bike without a helmet is not required. By all means , it's not a city freeway off the 405 on a Friday hot afternoon....
vietnam is another planet on this earth, people don't seem to care about world conflicts. They only care about finishing work today, where to eat and play. After the first greeting, they are usually interested in what you have eaten, what's up today
Great video! Good video, summary and narration. I had been to South Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) 3 times on business about 13 -15 years ago and always thought it would be great to go back and do a motorbike tour. Anyhow I've been staring at a North Vietnam tour itinerary from another tour operator that is very similar to your trip. Today I searched up N. Vietnam videos and yours popped up. This totally pushed me over the edge to put down the deposit today. I'm heading there in April. Cheers! P.S. if your hankering for another epic adventure trip. I was on a 9 day tour (7days riding) last Spring in Colombia. I definitely want to return there as well.
Awesome, enjoy the trip! Would love to do a Colombia trip. Almost did a couple years ago but didn't happen due to Covid restrictions - may have to put one in the works!
Hey love this video!!! I was wondering do u have any written way to contact Indochina? N how many years of experience do u need to attempt this trail? 😅
Wow! So a nice and informative video for all adventure riders. If you want to ride Nepal, Welcome to Nepal for the mountain and the hilly road ride. I cooperate you for Nepal Ride.
Looks so epic!!!! Just would of expected more content from what was shown at 4:13, would’ve been good clickbait. And hope this trip helped you learn to twist the throttle more on your big bike, I’ll be excited to see if you can keep up in 2023
The speed limits are everywhere and it depends on the type of road - highway/rural street/urban street. They just don't post speed limit signs since everybody knows the rules.
Thanks for the great video! I'll be touring Vietnam on a motorbike soon, and your video made me very excited. I was wondering if you know: do I need to get a Vietnamese motorbike license, or can I use my own (Dutch motorbike license)?
Hi there Kincade. I will be travelling to SE Asia soon from the UK, including Vietnam. I’d love to do a motorcycle trip like you did but unsure whether to do a guided tour or a solo trip with a rental. What do you think?
I think I would go guided. Not only was it awesome to spend time connecting with them, but I don't think there's any chance we would've found any of the singletrack or crazy trails we rode without a guide. It's not like it's a well documented/mapped area - these guys just knew where to take us. Either way, enjoy your trip!
2:43 hahahahaahahahah my 11yo sister also does that to me for FUN ^_^" so yeah, give you get it from a kid, they most likely do not have any bad intention!
Years ago I watched the Top Gear Vietnam special and always wanted to do some sort of recreation of that (watch if you haven't). This is just the ticket and adding to my bucket list. Can you share any pricing you paid for the touring trip trip, not including travel to and from Vietnam?
I will check it out! Yes, the trip was an unbelievable deal. It ended up around $2,200 (not including airfare). That included hotels, meals, bikes, pickup and dropoff from the airport, guides, the whole deal. The link in the description is the company we went through, and Vinh (our main guide) also offers his own service. I'd be happy to put you in touch.
I just saw your video, I am from Canada want to do the same, but I am wondering with a group or duo or solo. Since I am definitely not a party animal, I am wondering if a group is for me. Did you have some quiet people in your group ? Gear wise, do you think my klim suit is to hot or were the mountains chilly ? Did you bring your own helmet ? Merci
The group is entirely up to you - you can book a tour with only the buddies you want to go with. We just happened to have a massive group. A smaller group would have been nice. We had perfect weather; I was in dual sport pants and a light coat most of the time, with some days I just wore my jersey. We did all bring our own helmets. 10/10 would recommend making it happen. Incredible trip.
Did you have a Vietnam driver license and motobike insurance with the cards which are both mandatory here? Have a bad accident without either your fault or not and see what happens. Ever seen the show-"Locked-Up Abroad'? This is a dirty, dusty, noisy and dangerous country and not all like you see in these videos. They only show places you would like and not the ever-present filth, foul smells, unsanitary conditions and danger or Vietnam. It is not Heaven-on Earth' here. You can like it, but like it for what it is with the cheats, liars, dangerous roads, crooks, and bad food and water. FYI.
My wife and I rode for 6 weeks in Vietnam 10 years ago. Cant wait to get back there, what an amazing country!
Good day to you.

Great video. One of the best and most informative ones I have seen on northern Vietnam. Well done 👍
I would’ve never thought I would want to travel to Vietnam, but that looks like a fun time. What a beautiful place. It looks like anything goes there. The traffic looks like chaos. Thanks for taking time to share this.

Kincade, what a wonderful recap of our trip here. Such a great job you have done much appreciated and just a pleasure meeting you and your brother.
Thanks Mark! Glad you enjoyed it and awesome meeting you as well. I thought for sure you'd have a jab at the wheelie king comment though 😂
What a sick video bro. Looks like the experience of a lifetime. Some amazing shots you got of the landscape
Thanks Chandler!

How was the trip? Did you go to the Northwest and around Sơn La or Lai Chau, Sapa?
@@TuNguyen-yx5ow All of the above. It was outstanding!!
Man I'm jealous. This is so good Kincade
Thanks for watching Teddy!

More like no way of enforcing it lol

We didn't get any sort of Vietnamese license when we were there. Our guide pretty much said he'd pay off the police if anything happened.
Never rode a bike before… guess I need to practice somewhere…
