The vein is a molding defect. It happened during the injection of the plastic. I've noticed it every review. Got this wave for the holidays. I'm taking my time opening them. I have not opened the Cammy yet. I have the SOTA and SHF Cammys so I am not in a rush to open it. I just opened DeeJay and the almost 2 decade wait was worth it.

Oh ok, yeah even after I recorded the audio and worked on editing it, I noticed it a little bit all over the green parts. It's not that bad in my opinion but it could definitely be better without it. Totally agree with DeeJay being worth the wait thankfully!

One thing I would have suggested during the scale comparisons was to size her up against Jada Chun Li. I think this would be important for scale comparison because Cammy was supposed to be the most diminutive amongst the original 17 Street Fighter characters. She should be shorter than even Chun li who was the shortest of the original 8 World Warriors. Jada Cammy is actually shorter than Jada Chunners. Jada knows how to use a ruler unlike some of these other big name toy companies where sometimes short characters end up being taller than they should because of parts reuse to save a buck. SOTA Cammy was as tall or even maybe taller than SOTA Chun Li. Is Figuarts Cammy shorter than Figuarts Chun Li?

Yeah, if I had Jada Chun Li, I totally would've done a size comparison. But I'm still pretty happy with my SHF Chunners (LOL) so I opted to skip her and Ryu from Jada. I tend to be a stickler for proper height especially since my first love was TMNT (who are often notoriously made much taller than the should be). Of course now that I'm done with the video I'm thinking of things I could include to illustrate your points. Oh, well, I'll try them next time :). But yeah, parts sharing is great and all but not at the cost of characters like Wolverine being 6inches tall. Oh, and to answer your question, I think they are the same height...

@@EazyOpensYeah, I was not concerned with scale until about when Hasbro took over Marvel Legends. When prices for 6 inch action figures skyrocketed, I thought we’ll if we are paying that much, these companies better learn how to use a ruler. Lol. And that is unfortunate that Figuarts Cammy is the same height as Figuarts Chunners. That would annoy tue hell out of me if I owned those figures.
And this is my personal opinion so you are perfectly free to ignore it, but I would suggest you get Jada Ryu and Chun Li for several reasons. The Ryu, Chun Li, and even Fei Long that are pretty much available everywhere now are the version 2. Better paint apps and less QC issues especially with joint movement. V2 Jada Ryu is still more tan skinned compared to Ken, but his skin tone is a more natural hue compared to the orangy skin color he had in V1.
There are several more differences but there are UA-cam videos out there that explain in greater detail. Plus Jada Ryu can bend his knees more than 90 degrees but Figuarts Ryu can only bend up to 90 degrees? For a figure that’s more than the double the price of Jada, I find that totally unacceptable.
I also consider the Jada USF2 line the “Kenner DC Super Powers” line of Street Fighter toys. Jada will be completing the entire roster of the original 17 SF2 cast by this year or early next. Nobody who made SF toys has accomplished that, not even SOTA. That’s practically history in the making when it comes to toy collecting hobby……completion of the full roster/team. Luckily, Jada still seems to be producing wave 1 or there are still plenty of stock out there. But one day wave 1 may become scarce. I find owning the entire roster produced from the same company to be pretty special.
