I had this light. I liked it and was a good edc light. I do a lot of night fishing so I'm into throwers which this is not, so I gifted it to my mother for walking her dog.
Have had one for a year or so now. Love it. Carry it everyday. Mainly use it on low so I wish you could make it go low on first click then high on second click instead. But otherwise great.
I believe with the ten tap you can where you tap the button ten times it changes the programmed settings look it up on Streamlights web site should say what it is for your model

Hey Fletcher, candela measured brightness at the target. Similar to through but it is a power measure vs distance.
