In BL1 in the general box dlc, there's a bounty board mission called "Big Crimson Brother is watching you" which is a reference to George Orwell's 1984
You missed a hidden area in the mario Easter egg from the presequel, you can double jump up to the very top of the map, run around the edges and you’ll see a corridor towards some more chests, the room is basically behind the end room where you left in this video
