EG had amazing calls and control over the game but a lot of time it was PRX overheating like in the 15th round when jingg repeaked for a kill even when they should have regroup for retake. But since it's high level match with extremely high stakes, I understand mistakes like these happen.
PRX lives and dies by the send
i feel like that’s just PRX’s play style. if that repeak from Jing had gotten a kill, we’d be praising him. PRX likes to take risks
@@andrewchao9164 I understand what you mean and if he had got another kill, we'd obviously praise because that would be sick but in no world we'd not call it risky. PRX does have a specific play style but in this case it wasn't about play style, it was about giving man advantage to the enemy with Champions on the line. Jingg should have went back and regrouped and went in for a retake.
And if you think about it PRX did actually held back a lot in the finale considering how aggressive they usually play.

Hi Teets. I have a question about some team comps. I know demon1 tends to play Jett but on some raze maps goes to smokes. We also saw this with Tenz (although not being their main duelist) playing harbor in their latest tournament. Why is it that some of the best Duelists/duelers (IE tenz wins his 50s) are playing smokes when they are some of the best 1vX on their team?
As well as forsaken switching to smokes. I know something was a big prospect and ultimately took their spot. We also saw Yay on C9 on split play sage. What is the thought behind this? I know some aren’t Jett maps but why would they want some of their best solely “duelers” on agents that rely on their life/util
For Demon1 he is a main Astra so he knows how to play her well, and they already have Jawgemo on Raze, 2 duelist would be counterproductive
short answer: They only want 1 duelist (raze) so the jett player (d1, tenz) flexes to whatever the team needs. Jawg and d1 alternate smokes depending on whether the map is a raze or jett map, and basically never run double duelists afaik. Tenz is on flex because he cant play duelist well in the current meta where the single duelist needs to make space and entry. Team utility is so important that teams will give up fragging power for it
longer answer: team comps are important dont go all duelists la. u see what happen talon vs drx split with 3 duelist (teets even has a video on it!)
Also, Raze movement is a little different from Jett and Jawgemo used to play and is a good Raze player. So, he's playing the primary duelist instead of Demon1 while he plays Astra which is needed for the team. You can see old G2 matches where Nukkye used to play Raze although his primary role was initiator.
@@touyakami1406 I get that and I know tenz doesn’t play much duelist now cuz of entry but it would make more sense as a second in initiator. I guess on most maps he does play that role in Kayo and now breach but to me it feels like these should be on initiators if they generally play well duelists
