taeyong the most neo to ever neo
Fax 💚
Exactly! He's the leader for a reason ❤
The neoest
No ‘cause i went through the same exact process as yall😭 I was overwhelmed at first and then I listened maybe like 3 more times and now I can’t stop saying WE GOT THE BOUNCE WOWOWOWOWOW
Same 😂
Not me The first time watching this mv was Amazing and I loved this song the start I mean how can I not "lay low lay low lay low Baby keep it lowkey" 😂😂 I guess I'm slowly becoming the most Neo Fan ever with their mix Beats everywhere 🤣🤣
@@RJnct26 Well I’m glad we both love and appreciate the song😋 Everything about it screams Taeyong and I can’t get enough of it now!
😂😂😂 the same here its so funny we got the bounce wa wa waa bounce all the time i"m like this!!!
I predicted y’all’s reactions tbh lol. I personally loved it. I think taking in the visuals with the song at the same time might be a little overwhelming since both have a lot going on. He’s a Neo, of course the song is gonna have a lot going on. I don’t thinks it’s as all over the place as you all said tho. It’s like organized chaos lol.
The concepts of the MV per Taeyong is it’s different versions of himself in different Metaverses. It looks like they get sent out of their element and are adapting to the universe they’ve been sent to which was done by Hacker Taeyong in the Black Hoodie and “God” is trying to “fix” it
Thanks so much for your reaction! It IS overstimulating the first time, but I think this is genuis! There are so many hidden easter eggs visually and sonically! So many references! And believe it or not, there is a story line and message that make sense! I love it! I think the more you hear it, the more you'll like it! I would LOVE for you to check out the dance practice and Studio Choom for the song. Taeyong is unique in Kpop and is not like a typical idol. If you didn't know, Taeyong wrote and composed ALL the songs in the album! I would also LOVE for you to check out the rest of the album because the songs are a lot different from this one. It shows some of Taeyong's versatility as an artist. Thanks again!
I think it's different when you just listen to the song but you don't watch the MV. The MV makes it too much 😂 but then it's a fun MV!
You guys gotta watch the choreo, it definitely grows on you, and it made me appreciate it a lot more. Now I can't get "lay low lay low lay low...BABY KEEP IT LOKEY" out of my head. Also, you should listen to the rest of the album, it is possibly one of the best I've heard, because of the amount of work and even emotion that was put into it 💚💚
I didn't like it at first since its not what I normally listen to but now I'm legit always singing the song in my head its so good its very funky in a good way 😁
It grows on you
I had to watch this Video several times over mainly because there was a lot going on. But in order for me to really apperciate the actual song I had to watch the Dance practice. It was definitely the Choreography to this song that sold it for me. However, I did find an interview he did explaining this particular song and the concept for this Ablum. I've listened to the whole . I give it a 10 out of 10 it's worth listening to and he did an amazing job Vocally. This Mini Ablum definitely shows his Different Vocals range. He is not just a rapper he can really sing. Which is nice to see. An Artist tends to really shines more when they're giving creative control and more freedom.
They definitely picked the right song for him. Someone said this song like some of Timberland's beats. This song reminded me of when I first listened to Punch. Just sitting there staring at the scene like 🤨 because so much happened and I couldn't remember anything. I love the song so much and the video was crazy. I liked all his previous solo releases so it was cool to see something more Neo since he is the perfect representation. I mean the man's hair is even representing 😂 naw but proud of the first official NCT solo debut. Thank you for y'all reactions 🩵
it’s a good song you have to be super neo to get it
righttt the ones who get it, get it‼I will forever be a shalala and sticker enthusiast
@@wooshyu YES ME TOO I LOVE THOSE SONGS EVERYONE WHO SAYS THERE BAD HATES TO HAVE FUN ALSO 2 BADDIES ENTHUSIAST
@@taemangogo RIGHTTTT ONLY HOT PPL LISTEN TO TRUE MUSIC‼️‼️
What’s neo?
@@Aspect77337 Neo is the N in Nct🤗
I liked the beats and sound on the first listen and when I watched the MV and understood the concept, it became a signature NCT Taeyong sound, look, feel and 'quirky humour' - I enjoyed it even more at each listen. The story is GOD created the world and humans are 'hijacking/hacking' this world by creating metaverses (which is reflected in the numerous roles that Tayeong played in this MV) and at the end, GOD had to delete/reset the world.....trying to get all of this portrayed in a 3.5 min MV was no mean feat! Kudos to Tayeong and the production team. As for the choreo, Taeyong is one of the best dancers in K-pop, so he ticked the boxes in this aspect too!
this song grew on me, especially with the choreo
I watched NCT 127’s reaction to the video with Taeyong and he said that the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once was a big inspiration for the videos concept--which I can totally see now. So I think that it was the combo of the unpredictable song and a video with pretty much everything in SM’s props and costumes department that just made it too much to process at the same time. But just listening to the song on its own, with no bowling Yetis to distract me, made it much easier to groove to.
That movie was over 2hrs long. This was a music video. Way too much. Not my cupa tea.
@@faith6833i personally really liked it
I don't know why, but I loved it from the first listen. I think, though, that this is one of those songs that most, if they end up liking it, do so after a few listens.
when taeyong did a first watch with the other nct members he said the concept was a multiverse like anything everything all at once
I didn't like the song at first listen, but now I love it!❤ thank you for reaction😊
Can't figure out why I love it, but I doooo loool! Thanks for the honest reaction! ❤
I actually like this at first listen also the video is so creative, but i think since I've been a fan of whole NCT for years im used to the sound hahaha THIS IS THE MOST NEO SONG, TAEYONG IS THE MOST NEO HE IS THE LEADER FOR SOMETHING HAHAHAHA.
Listen the whole album, is amazing, different type of styles 💚💚💚💚
I actually knew you guys wouldn't vibe with it on first listen 😂 and that's okay! It happens
Such a good song
Studio Choom is a good way to see it without the frills
(I do recommend watching his Performance version. The different parts of the song feel way more cohesive.)
ALBUM REACTION CAUSE IT IS SO GOOD
this is such a taeyong song, i loved it
taeyong wrote and compose all of the song! u guys should listen to 404, Move mood mode, and virtual insinity!!
A little context for the MV : taeyong is basically acting as a hacker and creating multiverses aka yetti / knight / gameboy, mixing up timelines, and controlling them so a yetti and knight ended up in 2023, etc! shalala to taeyong was basically people being able to shine and be fancy in their own way :D
the mv was definitely confusing but the song was 100% a grower (it reminds me of sticker, very experimental but its super hybe and vibey! so I dont blame you for being confused) I recommend listening without the mv but thats just me! Fun Fact, his bside GWANDO (a bside now) was supposed to be the title track but he changed it because shalala had more of a performance aspect which he wanted :)
despite the experimental title track, i am POSITIVE you would absolutely LOVE the bsides. They are more melodic / taeyong's style and share a message about his life, making it even more meaningful. In the album, I would rank the bsides above shalala (love shalala though, dont get me wrong LOL) and I am excited to see your reaction to his album as a whole and the performance videos!!
loveee the reactions! yall are honest and I appreciate it sorry for the long comment LOL just wanted to give some info ab shalala
I appreciate you guy's honest opinion and I can see how this song isn't for everyone and how it may take a couple of listens as well, I personally think it's a really fun song and the choreo too. I hope you check out the whole mini album!
Thank you for this reaction video. Yes, everyone really did feel lost watching the video. Taeyong mentioned it was inspired by Everything Everywhere All at Once and knowing him he'll give something unique and different. But try listening it on repeat and it will grow on you. 😂
u shoulde watch the MV like 4 times cuz so much happen about Mv TaeYong himself have 4 roles and its him at the same time at diffrent time its about multiunivers so if u listen again at least like 3 to 5 times its gonna be stuk in ur head so thank u for reaction
he's a first SOLO in NCT so as an NCTzens we porud of him he really worked so hard for this album like least 4 years so we really appritiated and love him an support him idk to much about musicaly but i really like this song and i grooved every time
Like I can relate everyone knows TY for his fierceness and all kind of hoped for a blast of beat drop, even me. But after watching few times one must get hooked, it has groove and swag, that is very easy to appreciate and feel!
First time commenting on your videos but I gotta say, I felt the same way my first listen. It really felt all over the place, especially with the video going on also. I think 2nd or 3rd listen, and not having the video *should* turn your opinions around, because I love the song now. If they don't, I still respect y'all for always being 100 with your stances on songs and comebacks. Continue doing what y'all do, much love
Not my style but it totally reminded me of TOP. Feels like it’s something he would’ve done haha
Shalala certified bop 🎉
I mean its NCT shouldnt we all be used to this by now? Taeyong ate, his album was fire + the fact he produced it himself. The NEO concept was literally made for him
the album is SOO GOOD
Las canciones de NCT, la gran mayoría, son difícil de procesar al principio pero cuando las sigues escuchando te causan una adicción deliciosa. Por eso es importante repetirla siempre. Estaa canción me encanta ♡
the mv seems like a lot at first but if you watch it again it becomes easier to follow the story line it has. but yeah the choreo video helped me love the actual song more
I actually like the song but I had to listen to it again without the music video. Because the song is busy like you guys said and the music video is busy as well so it was hard for my brain to process it.
its so camp i loved it so much 😭 like even at the first listen
This was my initial reaction too! At first listen I didn’t enjoy the song as much as I thought I would but it really grown on me after few listens😂 Looking for the full abum review from you guys!❤
this really grew on me, I felt the same but now I be boppin to this in the car...LET'S GOOOOO
Watch the performance video and studio choom. The video is overwhelming lol.
This is only made for crazy nctzens who can get the typical neo music thats their signature style just like bigbang songs or GD and T.0.P I understand . Neo songs are not made for casual listeners or people who judge their song by 1 take or 1st impression. Analysis of their music in each segment of the song is what resonates with nct and their music just like some other reactors got that. 1 more thing people have to be super unbiased and neutral when it comes to reacting to nct members' music because all of them got different styles
That face you have when you’re trying to perceive things beyond the limit of your knowledge
I love Shalala. And the more I listen to this track, which some Japanese producer said is NOT an idol track (best compliment ever) the more I like it. It's a vibe. It's TAEYONG's vibe. His flow riding perfectly the funky bass line, the choreo is fire & cool at the same time. TAEYONG is one of the coolest Kpop artists (With GD and TOP). His visuals, his performance, always stunning. The MV is a trip, creative and fun. TAEYONG is NO idol, he is an artist, true to himself. True to his ART. I love that he 's not serving us the same recipe, the same formula that's been done, used, ad nauseam in Kpop. He pushes the boundaries and breaks every stereotype. TAEYONG reminds me of this David Bowie's quote, " I don't know where I'm going from here but I promise, it won't be boring." TAEYONG is not boring. Never. Like him or not. While many Kpop artists although talented, skill wise, are mostly predictable. We know what we're gonna get. That's not what I expect from an artist and from art in general. I love the album, his first solo. Each song illustrates Taeyong unique artistry perfectly. It's very personal, something we never get in Kpop. "404 File not found" a gem, a masterpiece. To all those who haven't yet listened to TAEYONG Soundcloud catalogue, it's time you do. I promise, It's a treat which takes you away from classic Kpop to a more indie alternative sound and genre. Have a lovely day everyone!🌹
Complexity & initial chaos is the NEO way of doing MVS & it always has been. Nctizens know by now that we may have to hit the repeat button till it snaps into place. The NCT payoff is in the long run so we can watch shalala 100 tImes NEVER get sick of it and STILL find new things in the MVs to surprise & delight us. Every single plot detail is waiting here if you have the eyes & ears & take the time to see & hear it but its gonna take a few views to catch what is going on here. That said a lot of reactors got this MV straight off so just admit that maybe you are too lazy for taeyong. IF you are not willing to invest IN his effort then your reaction falls as short as you are telling us he does.😮
Everyone is different and I respect your opinion. However, for you to imply that we are “too lazy Taeyong” is outrageous. Once again we don’t have to love every song at first listen. And we are not other reactors. We are TRC. And this is OUR reaction. Like it or not…you need to respect that.
@@AmbitiousAce616 k. lets TALK about "respect". cause I just took MORE time to react honestly to your reaction than you three took to pass thumbs down judgement on the long awaited kpop debut of one of the most accomplished creative innovative PERFORMANCE ARTISTS in kpop. Sorry but NO i do NOT respect that. Your channel your rulz so ill unsubcribe, cause It seems like you reserve the right to dish it out but you cant take it.
@@AmbitiousAce616I for one appreciate your opinion on this track. It took me a few listens to enjoy it but I think you guys will like other songs on the album. With that said, your way with dealing with toxic commenters is something to be praised.
I LOVE THIS SONG
I hope they are gonna listen to the mini album
im sure itll grow on y'all its such a good track!!!!!
This production is extremely Missy Elliott I LOVE
Yeah i usually end up needing the MV for stuff like this to figure out if i like it, esp since I saw it on a music show first so i didnt get as good of a sense of the production as normal. But the MV for this one was so overwhelming that paired with the music it just didnt help me. It was the Studio Choom performance that sealed it as something I like.
Listen a few more times. Watch what happens. You don't need to know what's going on, you just have to bounce wit it. Trust me...
i hated it at first and thought it sounded like a garbage fire but now i kinda like it? help 😭
Taeyong was NCTing as hard as he could in the Ncity. Lol. I liked it, but it's a lot easier without the video. The video is wild, like wtf is going on why is it like this kind of wild. It definitely has SM's more experimental side on this track, and I'm glad Taeyong truly does like it. Guess that's how he ended up being leader lol
this song is soooo taeyong
As long as these guys have been reacting i cant imagine no ones recommended Dingo to them right? Can someone confirm if theyve already reviewed Dingo compilations on their patreon?
I don't think i will add this song to my playlist, I do love Taeyong
Yup. Exactly
taeyong father of all neos 🤞🏾🤞🏾
❤️❤️❤️
the song is weird but its growing on me😂❤
Not gonna lie… this took me a lot of listens to like it. I wasn’t feeling it as first. I agree with y’all, it was too much… but check out the rest of his album. IT’S SO GOOD!!!
no such thing as too much in nct lol
I think this is overwhelming on first watch. I agree it’s too much to digest visually and sonically combined. But I personally found the song pretty straightforward after a second listen.
Agree with BB: I listened to the song before I watched the MV and really liked it -- it delivered exactly what I wanted from a Taeyong solo. The video is maybe too engaging, in that the visual keeps your mind so busy you can't focus on the song. (I like the video a lot, but I do think the song takes a back seat.)
Felt the same way. The video is distracting and only adds to the chaos of the music. If you watch the choreo version or live performances, it's wayyyy better. It's like a sensory overload.
i think the reason why it's throwing ppl off is bc there's so much going on in the mv and song so it's confusing. i heard the song first and then watched the mv and liked it. I'm pretty sure i would've had the same reaction if i didn't listen first😅
I think you guys will like the b sides !
Watch the choreo, u will like it more
Go and watch It's Andy and Jas for their reaction to this song! They really understood where TaeYong was going with his thought process and explained a lot of the lyrics that really made since to all the crazy chaos in this MV! Plus the Choreo performance video was really great!
ანრი ჯოხაძე - განთიადი / Anri Jokhadze - Gantiadi react please.
i think this song is dog water but also rlly good at the same time so idek 🗿
when you listen to more commercial music taeyong is harder to get into
Also guys how come you didn’t react to Ghost by Taeyong😮 it was a masterpiece!
I think the video threw ya off ace
I think you got lost in that silly chaotic video. The beat of the song and the rap were fire. The choreo on the performance video is so great too. I don't understand you guys and what you like? This was a banger! It's on my play list!
It. Was. A. Joke. We literally joke about Mark in every video. Relax.
@@sskura229 Yeah people with a biased mind can really be frustrating can't they? Pre-conceived notions about what others should think? It can be SUPER annoying. A little bit like Hypocrisy.
so weird to see everyone being negative because I know yall reacted to worse songs and I never saw YT reactors reacting like this before.
You are reacting to taeyong from nct, nct 127, so whatever you expected from the song should have been along the same lines and expections you would have from nct (weird mix songs)
Anyway, this doesn't feel like a genuine reaction. the song was weird, but in no way could it generate such negative "sadden" reaction like this from yt reactors. whatever yall signed on to do those reactions, you shouldn't have.
I can say I am not a big fan of this....I like him too, but this was a little too much. It seemed so out of sync.
Lmao cuz he’s not mark that’s why. Y’all said Mark’s name more than Taeyong’s in this vid. 😂
i have listened to it like 4 more times and i still can't grasp it, worst song of the year by any kpop artist out there, SM be getting misses lol
Me personally I hated it..sorry it won’t grow on me 😭 I just didn’t like it
