This was the second session of the "Adventism Explained" portion of the weekend conference intended to educate evangelical Christians about Seventh-day Adventism.
Jesus asked His followers, “Who do you say I am?” (Mt. 16:15). Who do Ellen G. White and her church say that He is? And what did the founders teach about the Trinity? How has their teaching changed, or has it? How a church understands the nature of God might just change everything!
Tim Martin has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Christian counter-cult evangelism, apologetics, and discernment. Tim holds an MA in Theology from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and a BA in Theology from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He has served as an adjunct instructor at Moody and holds ministerial credentials through the Evangelical Free Church of America. His speaking ministry has taken him to churches, college campuses, and conferences in the United States, the former Soviet Union, Africa, and Asia. From 1990 to 2013 Tim served as a researcher, speaker, trainer, evangelist, and editor with Watchman Fellowship in Utah, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. He now serves as Assistant Director for Research and Outreach for CFAR (The Centers for Apologetics Research) Tim's passion for witnessing motivates him to travel to cult events, particularly summer outreach opportunities in Utah and Idaho.

Exactly right, my family to this day live in constant fear that satan will take them away from Gods true church, they believe it so much so that they wanted to seperate from me and never see eachother again. That ended up not happening because of another family member but they refuse to speak about a single thing with me when it comes to scriptura and God's truth, they wont answer any questions i have etc. They believe if they do talk with me that satan will use our conversations to steal them away from gods remnant church.

After 50 years in this cult, the Lord led me and my family out by His Right Hand.
WE were shocked when we were shown the synagogue door.
IN my initial distress, I was shown in vision that Jesus was recognizable in the room where he sat, but His precious face was obscured.
In the garden outside this house there was all manner of rusted machinery.
The venue was in a dikenias part of London very familiar to me thus placing the picture in about 1860.
Gues what and who sprang up in 1860, EGWhite and her SDA creation.

I'm sorry to hear you left the SDA Church and even more sorry to hear you say that the Lord led you and your... "family out by His Right Hand."
My wife and I attended PUC in the late 70's - the time when Desmond Ford was a teacher there; We grew discontent with the "apostacies" of the SDA Organization and left her communion. Out on our own, we searched for a Church family.... and through our studies with different Christians from different Churches, the Lord showed us our lack of Scriptural fortitude that we had as SDA Christians;
From there, He humbled us and showed us our fault-finding , critical spirit .... and by His Great Love, He lifted us up out of our self-righteous, hateful spirit and burned in our hearts a Great Love for our former SDA brothers and sisters. You say, the Lord led you away from SDA's - My lovely wife and I say He led us BACK to the SDA's, not to find love... no... for we already found Love in Jesus; but to give Love to others in the name of Jesus Christ!!
God Saved my wife and I and our beautiful children, with His Tender Mercies and Great Love.... We now minister to a very small Church and look for souls to Love.... and to welcome newcomers to our Church family with open and loving arms! God is Blessing our Church with new members, who are starving for Love and acceptance.....
In the name of Jesus Christ we minister to these dear souls. If you come to our tiny little town, John, we would show you the same Love that Jesus showed us... you wouldn't have to attend our Church, but we would Love YOU and your family with open and loving arms!!!
The Fundamental Beliefs of the SDA Church are the fullest and richest understanding of the Love of God that you'll find anywhere.... I can assure you.
There are sinners and hypocrites in the SDA Church, my wife and I KNOW this ... but there is a Truth there that will assure your soul in His Great Love for you , and His Great Sacrifice of His only Son to Redeem us from sin!!

According to Adventists, Jesus is Michael in heaven, Michael is a title and not the name of an actual archangel, thus, that job title (Michael) was previously held by Lucifer before his fall and now the title goes to Jesus. They believe Satan will bear our sins as the scapegoat and will be punished for our sins (Christ didn’t complete our salvation on the cross) They use Daniel’s prophesy to predict the 2nd coming, and they claim to teach nothing but the Bible BUT the Bible is taught from Ellen White point of view. Ellen White’s interpretation of the Bible and words like “all-seeing eye” of God among other occultist terms shows that it is very esoteric, Ellen White is MadameBlavatsky’s desire for for Christianity-Luciferianism by another name, point blank period.
Ellen White said that God told her she would not die before the 2nd coming. She actually named many people who would not die but would see
Christ coming. She and all the people she named have all died. End of subject---Not A Prophet !!!!!

Their doctrine is utterly unbiblical and utterly false. They are in danger of hell fire and should hasten to God to teach them the truth so that they can turn before it's too late. I'm sorry for them and I'm praying for a mass exodus from this false cult.

The speaker above is doing his very best to release people from SDA bondage in which I was enmeshed for some 50 years.
God has so many SDA adherents who would love to be relieved of their bondage but are genuinely fearful to do so.
In addition, their consciences have been honed to MrsEGWhite’s specifications and must be resharpened to the Holy Word.
This commentator betrays a total lack of understanding as to the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
So many of my previous SDA friends may deny this but they are very wary of any Holy Spirit Ministry because it might be the devil leading them away from "the truth’" meaning of course SDAism.
What can I say but I was there and am finally free. THANK YOU JESUS.

What a title! There is no "Adventist Jesus" unless you know something I don't. SDA's are not a cult. We believe in Jesus as God pure and simple and I know this belief is not a deception.
Please make it your duty and do some research to find out the SDA's doctrines. What you will find out as I did is that there is some truth in what they teach but deep within the core of SDAism is falsehood, blasphemy and deception. ,I encourage you to choose the pure teaching of the scripture over the falsehood of SDA. I encourage you to run fast and far from this dangerous cult, because it is indeed a cult which has a stronghold on the souls of many. Thank God I'm free from the stranglehold of this cult.

We don't believe that Jesus and Satan are equal. We believe Jesus is God and Sovereign. We are not saved by Sabbath keeping or any other works. We know it's by the righteousness of Christ and we don't think Jesus is just a great example we know he completely effected our salvation and we could not help him do it. This information is so incorrect. The lady saying she was in the church is not saying what SDA's believe. We do believe Jesus' blood is necessary for salvation. Where is she getting this from!!!!???

It is not hate or a dislike of Adventists that these videos are made. It is out of a concern for their eternal destiny that drives us to speak out about the un-biblical teachings of Adventism.
The Bible commands us to "defend the faith" (Jude 3) and to be prepared to have an answer for those that ask (I Peter 3:15).
We talk/write to Adventists not out of hate or the desire to just argue. No, it is to expose the false teachings of Adventism and Ellen White.

It is righteous to speak up for what is right and holy. It is wisdom to warn others of wrong, false doctrines by false religious organizations. Love that simply accepts any thing is coward and a lie. True love from the LORD is tough love. Light and darkness cannot mix.

Jesus is about love and unity he his not divided , the Holy Spirit never descended on the apostle until they stop talking about each other . Sounds like a sermon filled with word smithing and some resentment. I was raised an Adventist, but now see their weakness on understanding grace and faith, just like many other Protestant churches in America after the counter-reformation. The Adventist church has it's roots in Methodism; which are basically Baptists that actually read their Bible. But I will say that never once, even after reading most all of EG Whites writings, was I raised to think that the Bible wasn't the first authority over any other spiritual writings, including EG Whites. In time I came to see her writings like looking at a book of photography, than one of theology. I also understand the institution of the SDA church has become more like a modern day Sanhedrin, but many of the truths of old like, State of the Dead, Hell doesn't exist for eternity, the Sabbath, the Health Message, Post-tribulationism, ect...are all truths they preach that are backed Biblically and are of no need of EG White's writings to defend. This is coming from a person who believes Christianity is more of a movement than institution.
