I am 38 years old. I grew up playing guitar, studying and making music. I don’t work in showbiz anymore and I don’t indentify myself as a musician anymore after I rekindled my love with skateboarding 4 years ago. I guess everyone have their own unique path in life. Thanks for the videos man.

25:17 Great thoughts on the philosophy of skateboarding! My observation is that skateboarding is a great way to connect with yourself and with people. If you're feeling disconnected, getting lost in your head a lot, or just feeling meh, go skate. Skating will change your mind.

13:50 gnarly rural roads and wheels; I just got some all terrain wheels 100mm from MBS. I'm skating to the store again, or wherever. They are working great. Dirt and rocks are no worries. Opening up the beautiful chaos of new terrain.

Sup JB!!! Another great video, thank you for what you keep on doing, and for getting deep at the end there - that's exactly the kind of stuff that keeps us going as finite human beings. Finding a passion, living through it, sharing it and leaving a little bit of what we made of it behind for others to enjoy. Looking forward to anything you'll be putting out! I got into skating last year as a 31 year old sedentary dude who always loved it and I can't tell you how much it has changed me and my outlook on life, sobriety and the likes. Your videos contribute daily to my skating and do a bit of what you say you're hoping for at the end here :) Stay safe and take care!!! thanks again!

54mm x99s from Bones are my new all-around wheels. I don't have to skate SUPER rough terrain (might get dragons for that) but the x99s do well at my mid park and my neighborhood streets.

Truck discussion is real too. Went from stripped Tensors in the 2000s to Ace lows..... it's insane how different they ride. It feels really good though and I like the challenge of doing flip tricks for now. Might try harder bushings in the future.

Great video as ever mate, very informative. I’m still batting with basics as every time I get close I injure myself again 😆 But I’m still determined. Just lately I’ve found more like minded people to skate with which helps immensely. Even had my very first bowl session the other day which was both terrifying and funny at the same time. Yes I was terrible, yes I fell off a lot, but with the help of a couple of locals it eventually started to make more sense and I left there slightly bruised but with a HUGE smile on my face.
Tonight the rock fakie battle continues 😆🤘🛹

Gain confidence (brusco kinda, let's say functionalized it. Still in the Robin Hood zone, cool enough)
Paraphrase for you. Commitment is important, yet over hyped. I'm primarily relearning CONFIDENCE, in my maneuvers.
Train as if never to master, Shaolin. You got the same...
Commitment to an injury; isn't functional. Example.
Mitchy added the gain. Robin Hood it as good as you can. I'm the ghost wR1Dt3r anyways. Use that power cosmic.
Are you going for the Apache crew of forest fire fighters.

Medium soft wheels like 85-90a are pretty good when riding in a wood/asphalt skateparks, but in concrete skateparks they suck
