No problem. If anyone has issues with the CL, SL or S class cars I may be able to help. Just got another 2004 CL500 for parts if you need anything. Will post video of car within a week.
Thanks for sharing this.. it helped me out a lot...getting it back on has been a hassel...the door isn't closing properly, it wont close all the way and the lock wont go down... Any tips on putting it back on?
You need a clip puller, a phillips screwdriver and a T 25-30 tips. I never had to replace the window regulator however it should not be difficult. Its a huge door. I imagine they have 10mm or 12mm bolts/nuts holding it on.
You missed a big step. Just inside and below the door seat adjustment piece there is a lever you will want to pull on to unlock the panel as well. otherwise you will damage the panel.
I don't remember any additional levers that you have to pull, however It has been a few years since I posted this so it could have been there. You should make a video with that in it.
@@michaeljn5746 Thanks Michael I learned it from a horrible video I watched before looking for the solution. Sometimes people break the latch because they don't know it's there. If it is already broken then it won't fight you but you will lose a big attachment point on the panel. These cars have just plummeted in value so it's sort of a whatever at this point. Too bad because they are beautiful pieces. I hope to keep my 600 for while.
Hey Michael JN, Thank you for taking the time to make and share this! I had been struggling trying to figure it out, on and off for months. Peace.

lol Yeah it's a joke. You can fix a lot of things on the CL, S, and SL cars. It's not hard, it's usually well thought out. "usually"
What screw drivers besides a Philips do you need to remove the door panel-Do you have a video for replacing the window regulator?

Send me a private msg with a photo of trim. If I can help I will
Cool thanks!
Where you can find a new or used module for a good price? Thank you
Email me with a way to get a hold of you. I have parts
+Michael JN thanks, but i already sold that car :)
Sorry I couldn't help earlier.
My seat control module doesn't slide. When you push on the black rails.
You mean "your seat does not slide when you try to slide it back with the seat control switch that is located on the door panel?"
Make sure the motor it self works if it does then its the wire in the door (between the hinges) or the actual control module.
