Did they buff magic shortbows or something? I haven't played RS since before EoC and am pretty sure range wasn't as popular. Amongst pures and ranged based accounts sure also in deep wildy multi clans but I've literally seen maxed mains in full rune using MSB, this would never happen back in the day lol is there any reason for this?

You could use a bond on someone and click on the ground to cancel it, making them react towards the chatbox and then spec them out, not sure if bonds work in pvp worlds though

You should try this doing the preload spec because then if the elder doesn’t hit you don’t spec, then you can always try that person again claiming you lagged or something
