- This was my first time at Indian Creek campground. If you tent camp you will love this place. The tent sites are right beside Indian Creek and the sound is incredible.
Looks like a clean bathhouse. Thx.
Yes, it was in good shape. Thanks for watching.
Love Cherokee! We normally stay at Yogi in the smokies but I’d like to check this campground out. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks for sharing. I've been wanting to try them out.
It’s a nice campground. Beautiful area.
Thank you for posting, I’m going this weekend. Hopefully to catch some trout! New sub, great video
Thank you ! More camping videos coming soon from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
We love this campground. We have been there many times. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber
Thank you so much !

Thank you for watching !
Enjoyed your video! Nothing like camping in the mountains!
Thank you for watching !
Thanks for sharing Sir!!!
Thank you for watching !
Great video, is this near Waynesville? Also, do you know of any free car camping sites around Waynesville? Not sure if there was a charge for your campsite. Curious to know of any dispersed camping in western NC. I’m from Charleston SC , parents live in Waynesville and I’d like to do some car camping in my new Subaru Outback around that area. Your suggestions are welcome! Thanks
Thanks for watching. I think Waynesville is relatively close, maybe 35 miles. Established campgrounds typically have a modest charge for tent camping - $25-$35 a night. I love that part of the mountains but I’m not as familiar with that area. I live in central NC and do more camping in the Boone Linville Gorge area.
I need to drive over the mountain from northeast Tennessee to camp at indian creek so I can do lots of hiking inbetween cherokee and cades cove areas.
It’s a very beautiful area.
Going for the first time in November to do some camping and fly fishing
Cherokee is a nice scenic area. I think Indian Creek may close for the winter on October 31.
@@GLandOutdoors thanks for the heads up I didn’t see anything on their website so I’ll definitely call them do you know any other areas that might be open then
Unfortunately, I think most in the Cherokee area close for the winter around the end of October. They may be some that stay open that I’m not aware of. I hate that because winter is my favorite time to camp.
