Go to the butcher and have them slice you about 1-1/2" thick pork steaks. I just used some stored bought ones that they always have but they are always thin cut. I nice thick one will give you some extra smoke time.
This what I’ve been waiting to see , I feel like everyone is on the Weber train which is fine ( but a griddle that you can smoke and use the hood ) it’s like living in a matrix that people don’t give this grill the credit it deserve ! Oh it’s to hot oh it’s to hot ! Turn on turn off and cook off residual heat !! Please make more videos higlighting the halo ( I’m almost ready ( it’s a big purchase but ) it so many more ways to cook !!!
@@griddlecookeatandmore unfortunately I don’t have Facebook but I did look up the forum ,I’ve been doing as much research as I can (first ) but I really enjoy the placement of the actual griddle plate how it fits down into the heating compartment ( halo is the only one that has done that ) do you notice a difference ? Having the griddle plate fitting in the snug rather than sitting up above ? You can speak to that
Also can you compare your camp chef beside the halo ?? Please ? The camp chef is cold rolled steel I’d like to know how that’s holding up compared to the hot rolled halo !! Thank you
