PROVERBS 31 EXPLANATION

Words of King Lemuel: As with Agur in Proverbs 30, we know nothing about King Lemuel. He is not on any recorded list of the kings of Judah or Israel, so he was probably a pagan king who put his trust in Yahweh, Israel's covenant God, and through the fear of the Lord learned wisdom.

In this last section of Proverbs 31, Lemuel's mother spoke to him about the qualities of a virtuous wife.
