I rebuilt my entire 6.0 powerstroke in my garage and nothing went to terribly wrong so sometimes you just have to try and if you fail try again until you get it done today's day and age you can find pretty much anything you need on the internet because someone has done it before
The extra bolt on the accessory drive is hilarious as that was probably me. I’ve worked for Dmax since they opened. I was on the assembly line during the lly generation and installed the thermostat housing along with other items in the area.

I'm not saying the tie-job isn't good enough, it most likely will hold up 99 out of 100 times. But, at the front, there's a risk of the truck bouncing, and skipping sideways, possibly far enough to get a wheel to go off the trailer. If that happens while driving, that could be a pretty big deal.
Usually when tying down vehicles, you try to go in an X pattern side to side. That provides tension downwards, and side to side. Having chains front and back then provides tension front to back, so the load can't go anywhere. Looking at 6:19, if the chains were attached to the trailer on opposite points (so the right side of the vehicle to the left side of the trailer and vice versa), that would help out a lot.
Again: This would probably work 99 out of 100 times, but losing a load 1 out of 100 times is still not something you'd really want.

We use a chain ratchet instead of a breaker bar type of system, I also have the same chair that Chris was sitting in at the end ish if the video and I will say, those are very confee chairs

Yall did just fine on tying down that load. The only thing I would shy away from is how yall had to drive over the fenders. It isn't driving over them that is a problem, but doing so un-evenly as you had to, can end up being catastrophic. Ive SEENT it lol
