Maarten van der Vleuten yeah the same melody is utilized but produced in a different manner that’s what sampling is lol. Don’t get mad at them for doing a practice that’s been integral to electronic music for decades now.
@@MaartenvanderVleutenProducer you can listen to Abbeloos (who worked a bit on this track) talk about why they made it, here: ua-cam.com/video/cxMXM_vgJ58/v-deo.html - his brother in law was a radio DJ and he would send him stuff to play. He told him to play Diskomo and he did, but its kind of a weird avant-garde song that doesnt fit into a dance set, so he could only play the last minute or so. So they decided to make a longer version that would fit with the kind of sets they were playing. This is really a very ordinary way to engage with music; why think there is something unjust happening?
I don't care if this was ripped or heavily inspired from another record. I still love this record. And it's the best version of the lot in my opinion. Best production and the most complete of the lot. Top, top tune.
When something strikes you at your core, you remember where you were at this moment. Well, it was in
The Bocca. Olivier! Thanks.
I adore this song so much, definitely in my top 10. I just wish some people understood the art of sampling...
Harper J I would say it's more of a remix than a sampling.

@@kellerwyant1704 It's all a matter of opinion. I prefer L&O I'm afraid, I prefer the build up. Both great for me anyway :-)
