Quick question, do you happen to know how it’s possible for freshman to be able to live in an apartment first year? It’s because I thought freshman were required to dorm?
At Syracuse you’re required to live on campus for your Freshman and Sophomore year. Freshman year you are assigned to live in a dorm and Sophomore year you can live in a dorm or in an on campus apartment!
@@larabars7536 Yes, I’ve never heard of a Freshman living in an apartment unless they’re from the area. My guess would be that it is an extenuating circumstance.
Yes, you can’t chose whether you get a large split or a regular split double, just if you want a split or open double. Freshman can get large splits, regular split doubles and open split doubles.

@@larabars7536 I found my roommate on the 2024 SU Facebook group!! We had to choose each other on my college roomie for the university to be able to pair us with each other. My advice would be to post on the Facebook group and include a couple of pictures of you and a short paragraph about what you like and your hobbies and make sure to include your socials for people to contact you!
Thank you for making this video. It is super helpful. Do you know the length of your bedskirt? Do you know the what the height is under the bed for storage with the 5 inch risers?
I don’t know the exact length of my bed skirt, but I got the extra long ones and it was too long for my bed, so I had to shorten it. The height of the under the bed storage is 30 inches tall!
I feel like applying to college in general can be very stressful and Syracuse did require supplementary essays, which made their application process slightly longer than other ones. You should definitely apply if you’re interested though!
The bathrooms are basically like private pods, you walk into a pod and in it is the toilet, shower and sink for single person use and there are multiple pods per floor!

I think some of the rooms might have hard wood floors, I'm not 100% sure though!

Sadler hall actually doesn’t have quads, they have open doubles, split doubles and large split doubles!
