Shaq was also entering his peak years, so it was not going to be a good match-up for Hakeem. But these sort of things are necessary though. The young Lion is not going to take over the kingdom softly, he will rip it out of the OGs hands with ferocity.
A couple of points: Shaq and Barkley weren't playing each other, and therefore, not a duel. 2. Excellent job of highlighting why Shaq was one of the worst players in NBA history. It's all on display. His ability to foul every time down the court on either end. The 5 ft perimeter where he might be able to hit a basket. His ridiculous FT percentage. The inability to play D.
