Buddy looks like he’s still growing!😂 For a slow start, he’s making up for it now. That new squeeze shoot makes this job so much easier! Another great day on FTR!
I've seen some livestock operations where the animals live in a constant state of stress and even fear, of being handled. That mindset is usually accompanied by a lot of shouting and pushing with electric prods and other pain inflicting methods. We don't see anything remotely like that at Farmer Tyler Ranch. Instead, we see cattle be as cooperative as cattle can ever be. Cows worried about what is about to happen to them, don't go willingly anywhere. Especially not playing or kicking up their heels while they do so. Tyler's animals treat being handled like a bit of adventure. He's mastered the calm and steady approach to balance handling needs, with a minimum of fuss.
I love to see how much of a difference the ArrowQuip has made for you! It’s always a great feeling when you work hard on a project and then can see the payoff. Your cattle certainly know you and work well with you. Glad everything went smoothly.
The changes you made to the working corral appear to work really well. The walking platform, the table, the space, the Aeroquip. Everything appear to work and flow really well. good job.
I so look forward to Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Get to watch the latest installment of FTR. Always interesting, and enjoyable, whether we are working cattle, fabricating, or maintenance. Thank you for sharing the activities of FTR.
Even as a non cattleman it is very obvious the new chute and pen rework is paying dividends in creating a calming environment for your cattle and hopefully a safer operation for you. Well done sir.
Love seeing Buddy boy he is a big boy and sooo sweet ....should of gave him a ear tag with his name on it ...All the girls that you moved looked happy to be at the winter pasture .
Dr. Temple Grandin would definitely smile at the beautiful relationship you have created with your cattle herd! The person you are, is directly reflected in the calm and trusting personalities of nearly all of your cattle.
Just kept watching and thinking how smoothly it all was going - the usefulness of the Arrowquip -( like your whip better - we used a leather whip but usually just snapped it in the air) and the calm way you handling them. I have never kept clear count over the years I have watched but think you herd is growing. Good on ya FTR.
@5:00 Buddy knows the routine (bless his heart). And the new squeeze shoot is worth its' weight in gold. Since your upgrades on the working corral area; dealing w/ your cattle is flowing nicely. And your winter pasture is just beautiful. Thanks for the video, Farmer Tyler! Enjoyed it.
Yep, Buddy is a big boy, great to see him! Really slick day today FT! That new shoot is definitely paying off. I always wondered how strong the door to the wagon is, wondering how much it would take for one to back up and try to come out? Good job FT!!!!❤❤❤
Writing replacement tags...oh what a memory... we replaced at least 30 a year due to ripped out tags. We had about 1500 head (of milking, dry, or replacement youngstock) at the dairy. We tried to keep a maxi tag in each ear in addition the the RFID button. So much easier to read when there is a number dangling from both ears... I recommend wearing nitrile gloves with tag marker use. Tag marker is PERMANENT!
Prima tech had the adjustable attachments for 250 mL bottles. Be sure to shake often. Keep on ice, in warm weather. Turn bottle below gun to NOT auto refill at final critter's dose.
If he removed the tags when he took em to market that would work. Removing them all would be quite a pain though. Leather tags would so pretty though!!!🤎🤩😂😂
❤❤VIDEO ❤❤ I forget was it HOLSTEIN or HEREFORD genetics has influence on your herd OR both ❤I remembered that your grandfather started with the breed ❤ I forgot what you said 😂 😂…
Wow good job! Laughed you called that cow HONEY! my ex never once called me that! Too bad someone out there didn't/hasn't yet.. invent a flipdown cover for the needle to save time and possible pokes? Did you get that ticket? Have a great day!
Enjoy listening to you talk to the cows. " I told you, you 'd fit".
Buddy looks like he’s still growing!😂 For a slow start, he’s making up for it now. That new squeeze shoot makes this job so much easier! Another great day on FTR!
We need a weight on Buddy😅
@@nadeenflynn9673 it looks like the chute is going to be too small for him soon

Luv to see the improvements to the working corral area makin' FTR's day much easier.
Glad to see how well that Arrowquip is working for you. Head holder helps a lot. Thanks. Glad things went smoothly for you.
I love it when you work with the cows. Their faces are so cute. Because you are calm, they are calm. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

You are not only a great rancher, but also a very good video maker, besides welding and all the other things. Thanks never miss a video.
The changes you made to the working corral appear to work really well. The walking platform, the table, the space, the Aeroquip. Everything appear to work and flow really well. good job.
It's so nice to watch how smooth this went compared to when I first started watching you. You're another of my favorite videos to watch.
Those cattle have a spring in their step, seem very happy.
Of the million and one things you do, this process is my favorite to watch. Laughed out loud at the improvised language to urge them to cooperate. 🤣

I'm so glad you have the arrowequip shoot.
A good days work!!!

Thankyou FT have a great day 😊
Love when you work with the cows. You can tell they love you and you love them
Just another day in Paradise.
your working setup looks so much better now... easier for you and the bovines!!
Dr. Temple Grandin would definitely smile at the beautiful relationship you have created with your cattle herd! The person you are, is directly reflected in the calm and trusting personalities of nearly all of your cattle.
Such perfect weather to work the cows in too.
Such a smooth operation with that Arrowquip and the changes you made in that area!
I enjoyed you working with the cattle this video. Always fun to watch a Farmer Tyler Range video. Have a great day.
Bye for now😃
Another successful and SAFE day on FTR ......... G'day from OZ !
It's nice when they learn the routine. It certainly does make things easier.
I would love to see a clean up bath for them. Hot spring soak makes happy cows. Cow wash😝🙏🏻🤙
😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
Buddy ❤❤.
Great good Tyler you trained them well ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cattle are looking great.
Buddy 💖
from mud too lush grass they must love it! Tyler don't be afraid to ask for subscribers!
I like working my cows by myself also. I love your setup! Nice!
Great job!
"Be safe."
Great seeing the cattle move to greener pastures!
Happy cows! Lots of feed. Been a wonderful winter so far!
Great series. Never miss one
Such a nice-looking, calm bunch of cows!
Cows look good, another productive day on the FTR!
Blown away in the first 20 seconds! Your backup skills are so amazing - that’s why the shute project has slid down the priority list.
Just kept watching and thinking how smoothly it all was going - the usefulness of the Arrowquip -( like your whip better - we used a leather whip but usually just snapped it in the air) and the calm way you handling them. Looks like all went really smooth! What a great day, Tyler!! Thanks for sharing life on the ranch ❤❤❤

Oh those cow nose hole shots! They make me laugh out loud every time.
Wow, all your efforts and the equipment made that a great day!👍👏
That is so awesome you had a good day that probably don't happen too often thank you for the video
You have got those cows trained!
Yep, Buddy is a big boy, great to see him! Really slick day today FT! That new shoot is definitely paying off. I always wondered how strong the door to the wagon is, wondering how much it would take for one to back up and try to come out? Good job FT!!!!❤❤❤
Hi good morning Tyler from Indiana, finally taken cattle to different pasture
Great video as always do bring all your good well behaved cows to the winter pasture
It is clear that all your hard work on the new coral is paying back big time. 👍👍👍✌🏻🇺🇸😎🙏🏽
Nice following you around, Tyler. 🐂🐂🐂👍😊
Great video! Simply fun to watch! Thanks once more!😊
That was pretty funny when the 3rd of the last cows looked at you like w?f...that was funny!

Thanks for sharing farmer Tyler ranch another great video
Excellent thanks
Great vid. Beautiful winter pasture. ❤
Nice video great to see the girls i’m green pastures
They sure seemed well behaved.
Arrowquip working like a charm
Impressive.
Have you considered having the squeeze shoot in a large enclosed space or at least a roof for weather protection?
Good.
Buddy would make some nice big stacks
0:55 😂😂🤎🖤🖤🖤💕 so cute 🥰 1:40 you think you’re gonna wish for a man gate here?
Do you miss the cows that get sold also, Will you be doing a video of pigs again? Love watching all you do on this channel 😊
I liked using a dosing-gun. Allflex and another were what fit the bottle caps.
Prima tech had the adjustable attachments for 250 mL bottles.
Be sure to shake often. Keep on ice, in warm weather. Turn bottle below gun to NOT auto refill at final critter's dose.
Seems I remember you used to brand before taking cows to the winter pasture.
Wow, how good was that video, I’m struggling to find words for what you do😊😊cx
You ever watch Matt with Ranching Sodak how he works his cattle ??
thx
Love this day each year. To bad you can't just rewrite the number on old tag.
Have a great day.
If he removed the tags when he took em to market that would work. Removing them all would be quite a pain though. Leather tags would so pretty though!!!🤎🤩😂😂
❤❤VIDEO ❤❤ I forget was it HOLSTEIN or HEREFORD genetics has influence on your herd OR both ❤I remembered that your grandfather started with the breed ❤ I forgot what you said 😂 😂…
Could Buddy go to the winter pasture? He could watch over the girls and be away from the bulls.
Buddy is one big bull.
Thank you for the explanation on the type of vaccine’s you are using.
I'm surprised you were not weighing them as well.
The red and white which went thru the shoot towards the beginning is massive, what do you thinks the weight?
Believe that's Buddy, the pet steer
Wow good job! Laughed you called that cow HONEY! my ex never once called me that! Too bad someone out there didn't/hasn't yet.. invent a flipdown cover for the needle to save time and possible pokes? Did you get that ticket? Have a great day!
Kallie waiting patiently
You need to oil or grease the squeaky gate.
Why aren’t you weighing them?💜😊
When do cows typically get weighed-for what purpose?
Because he's not selling them, they don't need to be weighed
What type of wormer did you use, and does it have negative impact on the dung Beatles, etc?
Are you still using that electric gate at the winter pasture? How did it work out?
