Assalamualaikum Sir...
Sir in what circumstances ُالجديد can take can take a kasrah??? 8:56 and 9:12 Plz explain I didnt get it from the video.
Wa alalikum salaam, when the adjective qualifies the second noun it takes kasrah, when it qualifies the first noun it takes dhammah in the examples 8:56-9:12
Thank you Sir... Okay so it would be like المدرسةِ الجديدةِ م Sifat Musoof Pattern???
عفوا انا، من الھند ساعدنی
If i translate مُضَافٌ & مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ in English by Google Translate, than i get Added & Added to it.
Is this the correct translation? If yes, can you please explain why it is called like that. Is the first word Added to the second word?
I do not think that مُضَافٌ & مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ is always possess & possessor.
for example:
- eggs from the nest - (the bird is the owner, not the nest)
- fish of the aquarium - (the aquarium is not the owner of the fish)
- neighbor of someone
- plural of sea
- reaction of someone
- operation of someone
- visit of someone
I find it very hard to understand, both in English and Arabic.
Yes correct, they are not always possessed and possessor, anything attributed to something or someone. But they musn't be mixed with adjectives and nouns.
