I remember a comment in an interview right after their one tour with Jeff where Neal was quoted as saying he was excited to record an album with that lineup, and how optimistic Sony was that they could make some hits. I wonder what really happened.
Jonathan Cain didn’t want JSS because he’s not a Perry clone and he didn’t like JSS’ personal style or strong stage presence. Neal let Cain have his way and JSS was stabbed in the back and found out through media he was out of the band.

This song is as good as it gets, hard rock, great melody and one of the all time great voices.
Neal's a beast. The guys can just pop in and make perfect solos that match the song. He's an icon.
