I’m a fashion student and read a fashion theory book on the 20 year fashion cycle... the 70s was back in fashion in the 90s this is why a lot of the clothes you have bought have 90s vibes
Indy Mae omg I have seen so many people wearing low waisted jeans and like those like tank tops. I cannot remember what they are called but u know what I mean? Bella hadid especially
If the jeans zip won't stay up then put a keyring hoop through the hole in the zip pull. That way you can hook it round the button before you do the jeans up and stops the zip going down. eBay can be really good for vintage clothing x
Fast forward to 2050 when people try to find vintage fashion from 2019 and all they can find is the same regurgitated shite from Primark, Topshop, H&M etc... Lovely finds Harmony! 😁
I'm also a therian I think. I'm still not sure what my theriotype is though. It's just so cool to see other therians because it feels like there's so few of us
A lot of this seems very 60s inspired. The 70s had a lot of muted earth tones and simple designs compared to the colorful detailed patterns of the 60s, which came in lou of the use of psychedelics in the hippie movement.
I would disagree with this. A lot of my mum's clothes from the 70s were very similar to this and there was a lot of colour around. There were constant improvements in the way that we dyed and printed on fabric, so it was quite a vibrant time. Films set in the 70s often have muted earthy tones but that's more so they can portray a mood that was represented at the time with quality of photography and that washed out look from aged film. The fluted sleeves are definitely early 70s, the floaty look is too, and so is crochet. The 60s was more of a fitted vibe. Most of the 60s was block colours and heavier fabrics, and very structured. Hippie culture was around in the late 60s but only for a few trendy young things. I wish I could show you the pics of my mum on her nights out with her flicky hair and floaty dresses. I love the way she looked in the early 70s. 😊
Jo D I love learning about the history of fashion so thank you for this information 😊. I observe fashion greatly in the films I watch so I guess what you said makes a lot of sense to why that would be my perception.
Mariah Cortes I have the most amazing pic of my parents on a night out before I was born, in about 1972. He has a huge collar and a handlebar moustache, she has flicky hair and a beautiful red dress with floaty sleeves. #StyleGoals 😂
I hear you about vintage fashion! There may be a large community for it, but that means more room for self expression and creativity! You have such a unique and killer style, always love to see it!
Mullet styling: two little plaits/braids, messy ponytail, or just out and chuck a bit of product in there and scrunch it a bit for volume! Not the most versatile cut but super cute. Also, flower crowns, random hairclips or headbands!
yes yes yes i loved everything! so feaking cute!! i recently just went to a local city vintage market and picked up the most gorg like 90s 00s blue/turquoise velvet jacket, zipper up the front with a diamonte zipper... you would LOVE
Can I just say, that beyond being so fond of your clothing style, the quirks in your endearing personality & amount of self-confidence, is something I aspire to achieve and genuinely appreciate 👌🏻🤙🏻 keep doing you, bbygrl & we'll keep watching 👀💯🙃
Devyn crimson is one of my faves and Miss Alycia for 60s70s style! They go by the same names on Instagram and there are so many of them on there that provide great inspiration.
Next time you’re in the bay area head to Berkeley. You’d love it. Theres also a vintage clothing store there called Mars Mercantile. They have the clothing pieces by decade in there. I absolutely love it
I love the white dress, and all the clothing pieces you got are super cute, although I know I couldn't pull off those pieces. It's nice to live through you haha.
This haul is 90% 90's 😉 I'm a smidge older than you and these clothes make me feel nostalgic. It's the 90's does 70's vibes. NOT that that's a bad thing. It just confirms you love 90's! All the clothes look amazing on you! I 💜 the Bali dress and the red dress 😍 Also, I think the fabric might be chiffon?
Hello Harmony Chances you're gonna read this are probably close to zero but if you do it will make me sooo happy:) I've always been fascinated by magic, witchcraft and suchlike stuff, can't say how many times I've seen (and read) "Practical Magic" and "witches of east wick", I love scented candles, spices , well you know the drill - all these witchy thingies) I used to dye my hair red - to fulfill the image, so to say. But I also had pretty tough first 15 years of my life and I've anxieties and huge problems from time to time now in my 30. What I wanted to say is - I was SO freaking happy when I found your channel. At first I was mesmerized by everything you do and how you look - it's how I wanted to look, how I felt. But as I continued to follow you you became so much more real and down-to-earth (in a very good sense!) for me, just a super cool chick with her highs and lows, not a supernatural lady, but a super REAL one. (Probably because your struggles kinda resemble mine) You showed me that it's possible - to have human problems and still rock this world as a witch Thank you so much! (I hope the message is clear, I'm not a native speaker)
Rachel Maksy does great vintage fashion blogs, though she centers around the 40/50’s she has done a few 60/70’s looks and said she’s expanding on that.
I also have a pair of ugly school shoe style shoes and I love them haha. mine are like a higher heel and lace-up. I love ugly things too. It's so weird to think somethings ugly but like it haha
Harmony. There's only one way to style a mullet.
*Business in the front.*
*Party in the back.*
I’m a fashion student and read a fashion theory book on the 20 year fashion cycle... the 70s was back in fashion in the 90s this is why a lot of the clothes you have bought have 90s vibes
Amy Moreland hey what was this book called? Sounds super interesting, I’d like to check it out
Bella Batley A theory I read online called the 20 year cycle
i was thinking of this the other day... so does that mean we’re gonna be dressing in knee length leggings and shorts in the 20’s?? 😳
Indy Mae omg I have seen so many people wearing low waisted jeans and like those like tank tops. I cannot remember what they are called but u know what I mean? Bella hadid especially
Well now I just can’t wait until the 70s and 90s styles are back in fashion which should be soon 🥰🤩
"Today I'm going to be.. moving my arms a lot" was a whole mood and basically called out my entire existence because SAME
Drink a glass of water everytime she says: 70's

b q she could wear a paper bag and still look cute 😍
Lol does she have a mullet? I though she just had bangs.
Diquan Washingbeard she says mullet like 10000000 times, how did you miss it
Jade M. Mind your damn business Jade.
Diquan Washingbeard no need to be rude, I wasn’t rude to you.
If the jeans zip won't stay up then put a keyring hoop through the hole in the zip pull. That way you can hook it round the button before you do the jeans up and stops the zip going down. eBay can be really good for vintage clothing x
Sam JP was gonna say this but you beat me to it!
Thank you!! 😬
Yes! My mom did this to two of my pants when I was a kid (hand me downs). Really good advice
Fast forward to 2050 when people try to find vintage fashion from 2019 and all they can find is the same regurgitated shite from Primark, Topshop, H&M etc...

Anyone else wear the same hoodie for a two weeks straight?..just me?..ok:(
Wolfe the Siberian husky therian I’ve been wearing the same cardigan for weeks....oops. But hoodies too
i do that a lot, then decide to get a new outfit, stick it in a closet and keep wearing the old stuff, haha
I'm also a therian I think. I'm still not sure what my theriotype is though. It's just so cool to see other therians because it feels like there's so few of us
Let's go more 5 years straight and we are close
Most of my wardrobe is from when I was in middle/high school. I'm 32. Lol

The material is chiffon! X
Mullet styling: two little plaits/braids, messy ponytail, or just out and chuck a bit of product in there and scrunch it a bit for volume! Not the most versatile cut but super cute. Also, flower crowns, random hairclips or headbands!

Hello Harmony

the bohemian patterns also look like paisley patterns!
Okay... I'm getting serious Chapter 2- Nancy Wheeler vibes from the mullet. I actually LOVE it on you!!
I have a (accidental) mullet too! Lol love the video! Can you do a updated tattoo tour?
Rachel Maksy does great vintage fashion blogs, though she centers around the 40/50’s she has done a few 60/70’s looks and said she’s expanding on that.

I also have a pair of ugly school shoe style shoes and I love them haha. mine are like a higher heel and lace-up. I love ugly things too. It's so weird to think somethings ugly but like it haha
The yellow wrap dress reminds me so much of Anna Madrigal in the 1993 version of Tales of the City
