Your video was one of the most informative videos for a newbie like me. I applied for and received my GMRS license and purchased 2 TID Hs for my wife and I, and 2 TID H3s because of the extra features. But I have no idea where to start. I understand the menu system, and have adjusted some settings, but have no idea how to set up channels, where to put them, and what to put where. For example, where do repeater channels go? How do I access repeaters? What repeaters do I use and where should I get them? You can see from my questions that I and - I assume - many others need the most basic of help. And, based on how helpful and basic this video was for me, I was wondering if you could give us all the basics from the first step and onward. You could even tell me what my settings should be. Thank you.
A very good radio, but the screen makes for a lot of hash on receive. Far better audio, and better sensitivity is got from the Quansheng.UV5-R plus, no USB socket but a K5/K6 battery with USB fits it.
I just started playing with mine. So far I enjoy listening to FM radio stations
Thanks for your love!

Just got these radios and looking forward to using them.
We are glad that you like our products. Enjoy your radio!
Good explanation
There is a setting in the menu which enables transmission on 1.25m.
This has become my favorite handheld, so I also have two, I used the clone function to set up the second one.
