This is one of my standard Laughability lets play videos, I see some useless Roblox features trending on TikTok.
Today I use a secret feature hidden on the Roblox site to have a fun experience in 2023... FUN!

Im surprised that like 90% of these basic features which seem like essential (such as backpack, follow, notifs, and more) are apparently not known about, like I have known all of it and used it ever since I started playing Roblox

6:41 ive actually known about this feature throughout most of my life on roblox, i didnt know most people didnt know about it. I usually would use it not to look at the items they were wearing, but to see their full avatar if i couldnt find them to look at it.

Some of the stuff like the backpack shortcut are not so hidden, like if you press the 3 dots it shows the ~ or ‘ key next to the “Backpack” option, showing you the shortcut

An very useful feature for custom names is by using the setting and go to account info and click on display name and you can change it

Fun fact; if you have a friend who wants to give you robux, but doesn’t have a group, you can make an item, and have them buy it while in a game you made, or just have a game where if you want to buy something, your friend can join it, or something like that. Just a little extra income, being friends with benefits.
yeah but 30% tax applies to items and passes (if someone buys it for 100 robux the creator gets 70)

also its not 70% less its 40% less also 30% of its taken by ROBLOX not the creator
@@lightfree8091 Then just buy it off the persons profile? If you do it while in their game that doesn’t scale it down to 20% roblox is still takes the 30% cut regardless. This would pretty much mean the owner gets 60%, another 10% and roblox gets 30% roblox is taking that cut no matter what unless it’s from a group.

The news tab used to show the obvious, news, but they’ve since abandoned it. It used to show news happening on Roblox like new events, collaborations, even the metaverse champions event, but they’ve all done that via blog or social media.
I honestly wish the Talent Hub was open to more creators, because if you aren't actively working on something, they exclude you from the group of users that can use it

The news tab was essentially just the blog, but compressed down so you could get news on updates, new features, events, etc. But now it seems like Roblox doesn't use it anymore, just like the Blog.

Also for the people who dont understand why they cant open their inventory is because some games dont allow inventorys so if you try to open your inventory. The game does have an inventory
or they have a custom inventory which is opened with a keybind

I’ve known at least 95% of these features for as long as I’ve been playing Roblox, and I’ve been playing Roblox for less time than Laughability…
Also, pretty much none of these features are hidden, you can easily find them if you just look for a bit.

5:09 yup, thats on purpose. Roblox pays you in their own currency, lowers the exchange rate by about 90%, which encourages you to spend it back on the platform instead of converting it. And the small amount of people who do get no money out of it.

The news used to be like a way for roblox to tell players important things like if s major update was coming out but i think a little after points were removed news stopped saying things

I remember playing doomspire brickbattle when I first started playing roblox. I played on a tablet at the time. I saw everyone else using bombs, trowels, and superballs but I couldn't find them anywhere. On mobile the amount of items you can have in your hotbar or whatever it's called is limited to three instead of ten, so the other items were hidden in my inventory. I never figured this out until after I migrated to a computer.

Here's a really weird button that I found on accident: On the website, if you scroll up on the home page, it shows a white button that says "Skip to Content". This might be used for ads in the future.

unavailable items is like the most useful button if ur looking for gears, because u never use them by equipping them, you use the gear command.

oh also ive done the unused items thing before, its useful for getting the id of a acessory thats not on sale
if u go to the last page (itll help if u select certain filters for which acessory u want) u can see some offsale items, sometimes even acessories with the wrong mesh

when i first started roblox back in 2016 i didn't notice the buttons in the left hand corner on top (i was on mobile) so i just closed out of roblox and opened the app again to leave the game i later found out about the buttons a few months later.

fun fact: on the 24th of january this year, the first ever recorded message was sent through the news channel. what’s the message about u ask? the message was about the update on roblox robux gift cards, which i guess is important news. it now does have a purpose, i think this is a pretty cool thing to experience!
yo so basically "news" used to be used to notify you about when events came out and it would send messages and i know this because on my ipad, i couldn't see my events tab so i checked that for when new events were out

I’ve been using the follow button for years. But, for some reason recently, the Notification thing doesn’t show anything anymore. I’ve seem stuff there even from ~2018 but just randomly last year, poof, all gone. And nothing new even appears there. Weird.

The “news” tab is for events/sponsors, if there’s any events/sponsors going on with Roblox, the event/sponsor will be mentioned in the “news” tab!
